I know everyone has been arguing over this for a while, but last week my Best Buy had plenty of MacBooks (all models). Now, only MB, MBA, and MBP 13" low-end are in stock at some stores near me. But the 13" MBP is only available really far away.

Good sign in my eyes, at least...

this is getting ridiculous, i've been waiting for 7 months now, just wake me up when they come out, this Tuesday, next one, or june....zzzzzzzz

I'm hoping and wishing very hard that its going to be tomorrow, but these rumors are all ******** and I don't think we can trust these rumors...

I dont think it's going to be tomorrow

Bit of a noob question as Im a fairly new Apple follower waiting to get my first Macbook Pro... but why do things only happen on Tuesdays??

In truth, the only thing "ridiculous" is when people actually begin to call the wait for a new laptop "ridiculous" as though Apple is somehow responsible for your impatience. It's called maturity. Look into getting some.

P.S. I just heard Apple has decided to wait until Q2 of 2013 to release the new MBP ;). You children will never change.

It is ridiculous that Apple is still selling MacBook Pro's with Core 2 Duo's in them in April 2010.

It's not rediculous to complain when its been nearly a year since their last refresh. Dell, HP, Acer, Sony, etc. have all upgraded at least once in that time frame, some more than that. Plus, the old laptops are still selling at full price. That, my friends, is slightly rediculous

Because we are hesitant to pay for 4 year old CPU?

Really? It's ridiculous that they are still selling them? I think you might mean it's ridiculous that people are still BUYING them. I tend to side with Symetry here, People are whining and complaining about the wait and the possibility that there will not be a 13" refresh right away. Some of you need to gain some patience and read a book. If you absolutely need a more powerful notebook this very second and just can't wait for the Apple product...move on and get something else.

This has become the most repetitive thread I've seen in a while...Can't wait to see another post mentioning "Best Buy's stock" or "Will it be tomorrow or Wednesay".

:apple: Carry on!

Guy, that's the Best Buy in America Jr. You can't even buy the iPad yet, what makes you think that you'll be able to get your hands on a new MBP right after they come out? One of six stores in CT has them available for pick up.

They better be available in Canada the same day.

I maybe a bit lame here and this may have been asked before countless time.

If say, tomorrow there is an update. Does anyone know based on history, what time does the store goes down?

Is it, Morning Australian Time or Morning EST, based on historic update (which I don't know)?

Using history as a guide, the Apple store usually goes down somewhere around (just before) 6am Eastern time and usually comes back up between 8:30 and 9am.

This is based on what I have seen of quiet updates (not event keynotes) in the past 7 years.

Fanboy or what.

Apple is charging premium prices for Core 2 Duo technology. People may have no choice but to buy them because they need a Mac.

Doesn't mean it isn't ridiculous that Apple still hasn't updated their MacBook Pro line.

Regardless of who needs it now or who can wait, Apple is still selling old technology.

I know that the people on here say that apple doesn't care about one person's opinion (the people who say a price increase is a deal-breaker), but that one person probably represents the thoughts of 2-5 people who don't actually post. Just saying, Apple needs to be careful. Prices might not be too high yet, but if the trend continues Apple will lose its college/high school student market. We're about to owe thousands of dollars to a university, we can't afford price gouging from Apple too.

AGREED! I'm currently a college student and very interested in a MBP but if they continue to raise the price then I will be FORCED to go with a PC. :( I am hoping for the best and would much more prefer a mac but I can only spend so much on a laptop.

Sorry but that cracked me up :D

Reminded me of how mad Canadians get on Xbox live when they get "Shut the **** up you stupid yank" etc, off us europeans (sorry but you all sound the same to us):D
