MacBook Pro Updates Imminent (Really), Part Numbers Appear

I hope that ol' Steve isn't a Triskaidekaphobic and the launch is tomorrow. The signs are there. Personally, I'd wait until the 14th but that's just me;).

My comment about off topic was in good humor. :) Love this thread. Will miss it. I hope the MBPs are a few more weeks, at least, so we can continue to get to know each other.

That's faster than I had last fall. While I was out of town they upgraded the entry-level service. Funny thing, they upgraded my bill, too. :p
 
So from the model numbers and such, it seems that only the 15 and 17 will be updated?

Ya well if you were with bell all you have to do is threaten to cancel, you immediately get transferred to someone that can speak English. I was about to cancel but they bumped up my speed from 5 Mbps gave me 45GB more bandwidth and brought the price down $15.
 
I finally made an account on macrumors due to this thread

I was wondering if it is tomorrow, what time will the store be shut down? how late Do i need to stay up? or when do I need to set my alarm? lol;)

Other thought how would some would feel if they ordered a 17-inch macbook pro today? then found the update tomorrow....

and I might as well


wow normally I get 22-26mb/s but oh well
 
March 13th was my 21st birthday, the fateful night when my best friend offered my loyal MacBook a gin and tonic. Needless to say, I've been computerless ever since. I'd say its appropriate to end this trial on April 13th. I'm pumped for tomorrow.

Sorry if I missed this in the 1000+ post count. But in addition to some people posting that best buy is out of stock for current mbp's, it also says shipping is not available on thier website.... But it IS available for the 13" :s
 
i bought a macbook pro few days ago and the status is still "not yet shipped". Can I cancel it although I've paid it before they send it?
if the 13" is not being updated ill get this old one:mad:

Personally I was surprised to see that Apple approved a 3rd party browser on its appstore lol.

So cool. Now I feel like a little kid awaiting passive aggressive Santa :confused: - he may show up with a whole lotta toys, or you may just get a stocking stuffer . . .

(Actually that opera browser is way better than a stocking stuffer but it worked for the analogy :p I can't wait to start using that!!)
