Well, no wine for me tonight, I drank about 1 litre of red last night and have only just got back to feeling like I'm actually awake.

Rule of thumb: Never walk home blind drunk listening to Scissor Sisters, you dance like a fool.

:) Ah the Gong...

I'm holding out for the hardware version in lime green anodized aluminum.

No joke; I actually had a dream last night where they released the new MBPs in that color. If no announcement this week, I'm going to stop going to the rumor sites and stay in the dark until the new model appears for sale on the Apple page. It may be the best thing for my sanity.

Fiscal year

Apple's fiscal year ends on 9/24.

Should that be of significance? If the release of something is going to cause a bump in sales, I would think they'd have wanted it prior to the end of the quarter to push up orders and sales prior to the end of the year. Now that this will be the first day of their new fiscal year, maybe they're managing for the long run. If I had plenty of growth for '05 to please Wall Street, I could delay a hot item and make '06 kick off on the right foot. Maybe they don't see much in the way for other growth - like the video iPod - until 1/07 and they want to maximize their bump from MBP's for the holidays.

What that means then, is that IF I were going to release a MBP C2D, I'd want it out there for as long as possible in that new quarter.

That means - new MBP C2D today!

Interesting line of thought, louden.

3 hours... tick... tock... tick... tock... tick... tock...

Man your words in my ears...

Is there anything other than Rosetta to start a programm which is not UB Version?

Boot Camp is just for running Windows right?

time is tickin... so do I...

Exciting

I may be a newbie, but I have been anticipating the new MBP for a long time, I have been a hardcore PC person for a long time, but recenetly I have been reintroduced to the mac. What I found is they actually work, it sounds stupid but in the past, with a PC you need to preform 10 actions which keep you busy, where as macs actually perform the same actions in one. I wondered where the hastle was! But there doesnt seem to be any! so I cant wait to be a mac convert, today, no matter what, I am going to purchase a Macbook Pro.

Exciting!

Just noticed that cnn.com is running banner and side bar ads for the Core 2 Duo on almost every refresh...wonder if that's meant to coincide with some major product launch???

I also dreamt that they released the MBP last night. I only remember that it was black, and that I paniced because I couldn't find it anywhere on Apples website.

I have never been like this before a product launche before.

It's now after 8:00 AM EST, Apple store still up. No upgrade today!:p

Umm, it's not even Tuesday yet  . Let's wait to see what happens at the special event today. It's not like they are going to spoil the surprise by announcing something this morning, then having the press conference.

Patience.

damn I hope the new MBP's are released today, my powerbook's HD is about to die, this weekend it started clicking louder than usual and locking up my whole system more than a few times. So it's about time to put this thing to rest...or install a new HD and give it to my sister, but either way, I need a new laptop now.

At least we have the Adobe Lightroom Beta 4 release to look forward to with our morning coffees and biscuits, white gravy and liquid eggs straight from the microwave.
