Reports suggest Apple, like every other major PC manufacturer on the planet, could have shipped C2D Pros and MBs already. We are all acting like workers who can't get the tool we require to do our jobs.

They are holding them back, presumably for some pointless marketing scheme of theirs.

I'd like that for sure! Isn't $149 kinda pricey for the current one anyway? I've never cross shopped so forgive the ignorance... ;)

And all the current computers can't handle what you are doing? I'm not saying you guys can't be enthousiastic about it, i am as well, just don't overdo it.

Sorry, but I have been waiting for a new laptop for a month, and my G3 aren't confortable for video editing....

If I had a C2DMBP then I could refresh this page 10-20% faster whilst using no extra power. And then there's the whole 64bit thing... you know!

Yes, it's $149. I too think it's a little expensive. It's a really nice camera with good quality, but I think Apple should sell an updated model for $99. Or even $129 would be better...
 
Update!

You can get information about a photo without the RAW file being available to Aperture (i.e. it is on a disconnected external device).

Small tidbit... :)

Raise the White Flag

Well, time to give up. I guess it will be early next year, no easy access hard drive, downgrade to the MacBook keyboard, 3 mechanical latches instead of any magnetic, and an underclocked GeForce 4400 Ti GPU, and a Pentium II @ 233 Mhz.

Oh well... :eek:
