This sums it up in my view. We should send this quote to Mr. Jobs.

Apple's Quality Assurance is deteriorating.
Issues with the iMac 20" screen, issues with the 23" ADC (first gen), issues with MBP screen, issues with the iMac Aluminum video card, issues with the exterior coating of MBs, issues issues issues...
It's a shame. I don't know why this is happening, butshould take note and fix the process.
"It just works" eh?!
Yeah it's like Apple use to never have any issues at all unless of course you count.
-Powerbook logic board failures
-iBook logic board failures
-Powerbook Titanium monitor bezel breaking
-Powerbook Titanium paint chipping
-G4 Cube power button problems
-G4 Cube case cracking
-PowerMac G4 tower that sounded like a wind-tunnel
I'm just saying that people who think Apple's quality use to be any different are just trying to remember the good old times while forgetting the problems that existed back then.

15" MacBook Pro: Most problematic Mac ever.![]()
Apple failed to respond to our repeated requests for comment.
I have some graphic bug from time to time. Looks like that:
great i ordered my 15" pro last week, i hope this doesnt happen to me![]()
Just a warning to those experimenters and kids that don't listen to our parents (me).....
DON'T TRY THAT KEY SEQUENCE AT HOME w/ YOUR MAC PRO OR G5!
And if you do, please hit "ESCAPE" key to get your Cinema Display or 3rd party display back to life.![]()
I have MBP 2.4 santa Rosa and my main problem is unresponsive keybord. And its getting worse. Oh and by the way I'm getting also electricuted lately by my laptop when working with charger on...What about that??
t
LOL, it just sleeps the display. It's not screwing anything up![]()
Made in China!
Technically, its not sleeping the display, at least not in a conventional way because my G5 is password protected and it evaded the password sequence.
So its not exactly the same as normal sleep mode on my Macs.
And yes, I had an unnecessary panic attack when realizing the display did not come back on its own! LOL

Did this issue crop up when they switched to LED lit displays? If so, has there been reports of this problem with the MBA or 17" MBP? If the 17" MBP & MBA haven't seen the same issue, any idea why it is specific to the 15", software or hardware related? Just my inquisitive nature.
