What was the expected delivery date promised?
There is no promised delivery date on B&H.
With new product, they always list items as “backordered” until they ship.

I’ve never ordered Apple products from them but I’ve ordered a lot of stuff from them and they are superb! I love B&H!

I seem to remember that during the M1 launch, there were many people that were unhappy with B&H because they couldn’t get confirmed shipping dates and that it was some time before they got their M1. I hope the same doesn’t happen this time.
Hahaha! Nah, I used to have a MacBook Air in college but I’m grown now. If Apple introduces new MacBook Pro with M2 chip then I will upgrade.
Woke up to my Nov 5-10 order being in Preparing for Shipment status and a pending charge on my card, woohoo!
I would have to bow out of an M2 upgrade. The M1 Pro MBP is more than enough to meet my needs over the next several years. I go crazy with the iPhone each year, but for the 💻 and iPads, I tend to keep those longer.
But I’ll happily watch the M2 pre-order thread from the sidelines 😁
Yep. I sat out on the 13 iPhone and will probably jump to the 14 if it’s as revolutionary as it’s being billed. Unusually keep my iPads forever but I had an 8th gen I got for $230 on Black Friday last year and when apple offered me $240 to trade in for the gen9 it was a no brainer. Brand new for $70 out of pocket with double storage and a13 vs A12 and new warranty too lol
I’m the same exact way. I have a feeling M2 won’t be introduce until end of 2022, especially for MacBook Pro. Plenty of time. But iPhone and Apple Watch is a must upgrade every year. Hopefully next year won’t be too expensive.

That's actually the one I keep the longest. I only use a handful of the features, and there's been donating compelling since the series 4 for me. Phone is every 2-3, and iPad has been every other, but it's about reached the 'more than I need' level given what I use it for. Still on gen 1 airpods and airpods Pro. I am in the process of swapping out all the old Apple TV's for the latest model, but there's a couple I can't because it doesn't have an optical out anymore (that's one of the big boos for port loss). I have a stock of old airport express v2 to postpone the need to upgrade those systems as long as I can.
im just scared that I'm now In an 'upgrade the Mac' every year cycle for a while!
