Mine was originally Nov 5-10, but it also is in the "Clearance Delay" status in Memphis right now. I'm not too concerned about it still arriving well before the original time estimate but that's annoying if Oct 29 orders are in the same status.

As for the charger, apparently there were two options with the base 14 inch MBP
67W USB-C Power Adapter
96W USB-C Power Adapter
+ $20.00
Wish I had caught it and shelled out the extra $20
I'm really excited to compare the MBP to my gorgeous iPad. Decisions will be made.... so stoked.
Also, Follow my driver is rarely ever offered to me and I would call UPS to see if I can change it but I'll stick with the element of surprise.
(Although now I'm silently hating everyone who texts me that isn't UPS 🤣)

As a long time Apple customer (and developer), this day pretty much sucks for me.
Woke up early and ordered for a MBP 16 through my local Apple store. Got the email for pick up. About 20 minutes after that email, I get a call saying they've cancelled my in-store pick up because the "box is damaged". Right...
And my pre-order from last Tuesday is stuck in limbo somewhere in China. Pffft.

Received my 16-inch this morning. This thing is a beast. The vastly improved camera is a no-brainer trade-off for the notch, which I barely notice (and which disappears if one sets the desktop to black). The machine itself has a decidedly throwback look due to the thickness, but it looks great and it fits in my briefcase, so no problems there. Very, very happy. Good luck to all.

@svish Busy day. Since MBP14M1Max isn’t due until the afternoon, I went down to Best Buy to shop for other stuff….. and found myself standing in front of the iPhone display. It will be a busy afternoon.

I’m bouncing around facilities in Shanghai waiting to get a departure scan. Maybe tonight? Would be great to get it this week.

I got the USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable BEFORE my laptop!!! WTH???!?! This is so useless without the laptop!

Need you to test out the display on the 16" model with automatically adjust brightness turned off in display settings.
On 5 bars brightness the screen is very dim, once you go above 5 bars ??✋☀️
Think I might be being picky, I'm not really amazed by this display, at lower brightness, it doesn't look as good as my previous little beast. ?
Can someone else who has the big boy test this, my OCD is kicking in again. ?♂️?

This is the same experience I had before...
- out for delivery
- you wait the entire day
- then you call UPS/FedEx
- then they tell you that the driver had too many deliveries and couldn't make it to your 'hood
- wait until tomorrow and you will surely get it
Am I the only one who has their MBP in hand but hasn't been charged yet? The initial auth fell off the day after I ordered and there's still no charge or authorization on my card. Their systems must be backed up. Doubt I'm getting this thing for free.
You're not alone. There's quite a few of us that are stuck. My tracking status is virtually identical to yours. Here's mine. Whatever is going on in Shanghai right now, must be an absolute mess.
