What size screen MacBook Pro (2021) did you order?

Omg I’m freaking out guys, UPS says that my MacBook was delivered at my front door but it’s not there! 😭 😱

I started an investigation already and also checked the office where I live to make sure one of my neighbors didn’t accidentally receive it. I live in townhouses and I saw it was delivered like 5 minutes after the reported time on UPS, so seriously thinking it was dropped off at an incorrect address. Also, how the heck was a signature not required? Both my iPhone 13 Pro and iPad Pro required signatures.

Stay calm, cool, and collected. Sometimes the driver logs the delivery and has not quite made it the customer's house. Can you track the UPS truck?

That's a very good question on this, and one that only UPS can answer. I don't know how much Apple can help on this. If anything, if it turns out that UPS screwed up, then it's at UPS' expense that a replacement be purchased and sent out to you. I don't know if it could be expedited, either, as Apple did everything right.

If you can track the truck then that will help to figure out what happened. If you are able to get another one shipped, definitely preempt the delivery and request to pick it up at UPS' distribution center.

Once the UPS site was saying a delivery attempt was made and no one was home. That was not at all true. When I saw that I contacted UPS immediately and spoke with someone. They apparently contacted the driver because when came later, he was not happy with me.

However, it's moved from processing to "preparing to ship" though.

Glad to hear other users seem to be getting their December orders significantly earlier, can't help but be beyond jealous and frustrated, haha.

Ahh! Atleast you were able to see some movement today. Preparing to Ship. Hopefully, It gets shipped soon. Be grateful it's not delayed until December :) Keep us posted and Good luck!

The UPS driver can be unhappy he wants. It isn't your fault that he didn't wait long enough to complete the delivery attempt.

Been compensating with getting Polishing Cloths, and an Apple Leather Sleeve (made for my 2019 MBP) that delivered today (pics when I get home from work!)...

That said, my wife's 2015 MBA is starting to show it's limits and the battery is behaving much like your 15" MBP was. So by Christmas, she may very well have a 14" MBP (M1 Pro/10/10/16GB/1TB). I guess that may bring me full circle...ha ha. Sorry for the long read.

Ahh! Thank you for the detailed information. I bet it's very hard and tempting but you stayed very disciplined and did not upgrade...Many of us did not care and jumped at it. LOL! I do miss the Touch Bar it's missing from the new Mac.
Glad your wife is due for an upgrade. She's going to love it. She may want to place her order now since it delayed for months :)

They get better after a few days once they break in properly, wasn’t hearing any bass previously, now it’s bass for days. 🔉🔉🔉

Or maybe I’m tripping. 🤔 lol

Woah! that is terrifying news. Do you have Ring or Camera's installed? Maybe they dropped it off in a wrong address? Let us know what happens and keep us posted.

That's also another reason why I request my packages to be picked up from the Customer Care Hub. I don't trust any UPS drivers driving around with my packages. The drivers are very nice people but a lot can happen with your package. You just never know :( So sorry!

Hi everyone, I've been busy with school so I haven't gotten caught up on the thread yet, but I wanted to pop in and see how everyone is loving their new bbs. I absolutely love mine. I do notice some blooming on my screen, but it's entirely possible that it's my astigmatism. Even if it isn't my eyes, I couldn't ask for a better machine. Even the notch has become something I almost enjoy seeing; it adds to the personality (I am fully fecking aware it's an inanimate object).
As for anyone who hasn't received theirs yet, I hope you see them soon!

So happy to hear that you are loving your new M1 despite the (maybe?) blooming! This is a truly awesome machine. I’m set now for at least the next 5-7 years… that is unless Apple introduces a 💻 that blows me away.

Glad to see you pop in! I should actually spend more time with school stuff, but I’m kinda burnt out at this point. 🥺

How much more time left with schooling?

Also, my Mac saved me with undergrad and grad college. So many reports and projects. Now I miss the thrill and adrenaline. Trust me.. you will miss it too.

This new Mac will help you out. Trying to stay on topic 😂

I’ve never gamed on my Mac, they look good though.

Better get up and get ready, not sure what they gave me 💉 but I feel awesome 😂👌 feel like sleeping. Guess superheroes aren’t affected by the jab. 😎

No, I’m not going to the apple store lol, need some important groceries, was going to check out the pixel while I’m there, but it’s not worth my energy today.
