Surely you’ll return that charger? 🤦♂️😂Nothing, LOL! I went to visit a shop to pick up some shoes and I figured I stop by an Apple store to see what's happening. It was overly crowded.
I also wanted to see the 14" model since @LasersGoPewPew has been admiring it. Glad, I went with the 16" model it's a perfect size
The charger is still preparing to ship. Maybe it will arrive next week?

Looks wise, 14” model hands down, smaller speaker cutouts look better than the big speaker cutouts on the 16” model.
Can’t say no to that screen on the 16” model though.
Dammit.
Now I'm on the bubble again. For the Mac I want, there is only a $200 difference between the 14" and 16"!
14" 10/16/16 16GB 2TB = $2659 at the EDU store.
16" 10/16/16 16GB 2TB = $2859 at the EDU store.
Would you think that the extra $200 is worth the real estate?

Just my luck if I were to get a refurb 16” in January 2022 and the top case has a water ring mark on it…At least I would know who had it before me. 🤣

Yes - plus you get a little more sound chamber action out of the chassis and more thermal dissipation out of the bigger volume.
The discussions on the 16” size resonated w/ me as I used to have 15” MBPs and went to two versions of 13” MBPs…and now I’m on a 16”. I went to the 13” as I travelled a lot more and I deployed on ships, so I needed that smaller size for the portability. But with all this remote work of late and xl sheets spreading across two monitors, I had went up to the 16. It’s all about what you need now and for the next 4-5 years.
It's worth it because of the screen size, battery life.

Dang! Apple is always looking for ways to save money. Apple probably told the engineers we want the sound to be good but we also want it to be cheap. Figure it out!
16 slightly better from my testing.
I normally agree when it comes to apple being cheapskates, you do have more room to play with on the 16” model when it comes to better speakers.

My favorite one was the lemon screen... All of a sudden I'm craving lemon now. Also, I played the video on 2160!
