Agree. Seems unlike Apple not to have the colors match.

So my package departed Louisville @ 3:02 PM EST today and I'm assuming it hopped onto a flight to Philadelphia Airport (KPHL). Anybody know if UPS traditionally flies packages from Louisville to Pennsylvania since it's over 600 miles? No way they'd travel by truck.... right? ?

Mine left Louisville at 4:51 and is scheduled is scheduled for delivery for tomorrow between 1-4. YES!!!
Congrats! When did you place your order? I ordered the 16" M1 Max with 64GB RAM and 4TB SSD as well on October 18th about 15 minutes after the keynote ended with a November 10-17 delivery date. My order has not moved from "Processing" since it was placed. I know on another thread there were a couple of us with this configuration in the same boat so hopefully yours is a sign of some movement for all of us.
Yeah, I couldn’t do that. I need some form of background light even if it’s a very dim light, and I’ve used a keyboard for so long, I don’t need the backlit keys. ☺️

Two day delay in ordering due to technical glitch between Veteran's page and Apple. Compensated $49.95 by management team, changed from standard to expedited shipping by customer service.
Still processing - has not charged to Apple Card, has not entered preparing to ship status, thus has not shipped & no real idea of accurate shipping dates.
Total lack of progress or information. If I can find 16" Max with similar or higher storage (and 64GB memory) then if in stock I will purchase from a reseller/vendor, but highly doubtful.
So that is my non-status update. I have done everything a consumer can in trying to troubleshoot the issues with my order. Awaiting a response from Tim Cook et al but probably a pipe dream to expect any progress.
Sticking with my experience of worst pre-order ever.
The biggest mistake would be listening to you. Don’t worry, you’ll be the reason why I return the 16. 😀

I’m in Philly, and I receive a lot of my Apple products where Carlisle is listed as a location on tracking. The packaging even indicates Carlisle.

Apple has a distribution center in Carlisle, PA that distributes its products on the East Coast and Canada as well as distributing stock to its stores.

If it’s for anything else other than launch products, I usually get Apple products overnight, but more often than not, I will pickup in-store or have it couriered.That’s awesome! You probably get Apple products right away then
