The poor beast is getting tortured 😳 honestly, be carful the screens are very fragile, I wouldn’t stack them like that. 😬

The OG MacBook 🥰😁👌 must be like apple heaven at your house. 😁 still on Big Sur? 😲

I tried this 6ft Thunderbolt 4 cable with my new MBP M1Pro and it worked fantastic. It's much longer than Apple's short Thunderbolt 3 cable.

Thanks! I’ll definitely take a look at this. I just wish that Apple made a longer magsafe cord. I figured that and a lower watt brick would work for mobility. I honestly can’t imagine a situation where I would need the 140w brick for the 16”… I’m just not sure how often I would use it.

If they are beast like you say they are then it should be fine 😁

Haven’t touched it in while. Thinking about selling it to offset the cost of the MBP

Would be good to recalibrate the poll to "What size screen .... did you order?" We're well into the order cycle now.
That's a very good suggestion. Submitted to the Mods :) Thank you!
Guess what! The voting question has been updated by MacRumors mod 😃 how does it look now?

Thanks to you for the suggestion :)

Thank you MacRumors, Mods.

I have been using this external Thunderbolt 3 1TB portable storage for a year now. This thing is close $400 when not on sale. It's on sale now for $159. I caught it at $129. However, $159 definitely ain't bad. It's very durable as I have dropped it more than once and no damage. It always has been a fast performer!
  • Fast: access time up to 15x faster than HDD, up to 1600 MB/s
I just plugged it into mew MBP M1Pro to transfer my 29GB VM file. The transfer was so dam fast I missed it!! I took a few sips of water and checked a web page. I thought the transfer didn't start but it did. It was finished. It was seconds!!

What will be the short version of referring to the new MacBook Pro M1Pro and MacBook Pro M1Max? MBPM1Pro and MBPM1Max? Should an indication of the number of cores or screen size be included?
