What size screen MacBook Pro (2021) did you order?

I don't know if this is due to UPS sucking, but my brothers MBP (which he ordered a day after mine is making more progress than mine which is stuck in Shanghai. he lives down the street from me and bought the same config. His order however shipped fedex and is already on its way to Japan. WTF

Fedex ones seem to be going OK from what I've seen on here set aside a few exceptions, however about everybody shipped with UPS last week is going through this Shanghai/Zhengshou (ZZ) delay nightmare lol

Has anyone else had their MacBook stuck in China for 5 days??

Hello folks ? I’ve ordered a 16” custom config right when the preorder opened and it was on the delivery truck Oct 29.

But… FedEx lost the package (of course). It says delivered on the tracking site and “no signature required because recipient authorized” (which I never did). Anyway I don’t know what happened to the computer. It doesn’t really matter anymore.

Apple sent me a replacement after my complaint in the same day. It’s great but now the delivery date is Dec 15 - Dec 22 :(

I’ve contacted support multiple times (text + call) and their response was always the same, that they’ve already gave me express shipping for the replacement, but they couldn’t expedite the assembly of the replacement order.

Anyone had similar experiences before? Any magic words I could say to apple support to let them ship my computer faster?

Yeah there's probably 5 people on here with a very similar UPS tracking, you're luckier than me and some others though because your package made it to ZhengZhou. We're all mainly stuck still in Shanghai for the last 6 days+. It may have to do with Chinese export customs holding it, it may have to do with UPS trying to group the orders together to reduce cost, there are a few different theories, but nothing is for certain...

Apple support/UPS have been useless with providing more info, they both essentially are saying all they have for info is the same info we have (tracking)

Aside from emailing Tim Cook or an exec, it's highly unlikely that they'll move up your date... UPS lost my iPhone 12 Pro Max last year (same situation, it was likely stolen), they replaced the phone after a couple days of "investigation" and then they gave me a delivery date that was 3-4 months after my original delivery date (after explaining I did the early morning preorder and all of that, they said it's simply a supply/demand issue re: delivery date and that it was UPS's mess-up, not theirs). They told me they couldn't do anything about that and I ended up asking for a refund & just waiting for the 13 Pro Max to come out. Best of luck though
 
I called UPS. It's just them that are backed up with "a huge influx of packages the past few weeks". Fedex ships out the same day. Apple using UPS is a sh*t show
i might call them again too, i have a weird feeling they just BS any response to get you off the phone 😂😂

I totally agree! I made that comment earlier in the thread and seriously wish that Apple would use some of their billions to establish better their own transportation service. I imagine that Apple would receive few to no complaints.
 
Ordered a sleeve for 14inch on amazon (I was originally looking for a cover but not as many hasnt been released for this model yet)
but this one looks great and stylish, it fits perfectly, light case, the magnet that closes does the job, I like how the leather feels. I would recommend this for anyone who is looking for a simple protective ? for your ?
