My MBP is finally out of ZhengZhou hell! After a week sitting there with no movement, I wake up this morning and not only has it left ZhengZhou to Korea, it's already left Korea!

Hopefully the next stop is somewhere in the US and I can finally get my laptop in the next few days (I'm in SoCal).

Same - After a week stuck in ZhengZhou hell, finally seeing movement and it's already departed Korea.

I'm in NorCal and my expected delivery date is Mon 15th, with original estimate being 11-18th - so technically still in the original window but if not for ZhengZhou it could have been delivered already.

Mine finally left Zhengzhou after sitting for 6 days! Original delivery date from Apple was 11/18-26, now Apple says 11/15 and UPS says tomorrow. I think it's on this flight: UPS Flight

Also.... this is weird. I got an email notification 15 minutes ago from UPS MyChoice saying that the shipment is delivering on Monday... but then when I go to the actual tracking page it shows this:

Since I've never seen the "The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible" exact wording like that, my best guess is that they are fully aware of this mess up and they are giving our shipment block special attention (would explain them testing the Monday rescheduled delivery date notification). or maybe I'm going nuts trying to analyze their methods... ???

Dang! Nice to see, I just logged into UPS and the AI just says "The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible".

Has yours changed back to that now?

@LFC2020 My recliner setup.... with raised scissor stand and dual HomePod Minis, sitting on a tin barrel with plywood top (all in SG, of course). Just a hillbilly step up from using the arm of the chair.

Went to the Apple store this morning for my pickup… Didn’t make any additional purchases—YAY! me.

Anyway, they had no Apple cloths in stock, didn’t have the leather link band I wanted or the MagSafe wallet, and they told me that I should not purchase the Apple leather sleeve for the 16.

They did have all of the different colored minis in stock, but I resisted. 🥺

I tell ya, these mini's are the bomb. And when music is set to lossless, they sound that much better. But I typically watch one move a night on the MBP, and music is often playing in the background.

He also informed me that Apple is releasing a new Apple store app tonight which will give users a much better shopping experience. Yeah, like I need anymore encouragemeent.

I like all of the new colors, but for you, either the blue or orange.

No delays on anything I send to it. When the video is started, there’s a brief delay before the video/audio begins which is the period I’m assuming that’s used to sync everything up. The latest updates to macOS and the HomePods must have resolved the sync issues.
