Just got an email from Apple that my package may be delayed....oh well will see...still hoping for Tuesday

Finally today (Dec10) UPS is live and changed the status to Tuesday, December 14th delivery!!!! Getting closer and closer!!!

Apple sent me a text saying Dec 21, FEDEX says Thursday? My original window was Dec 13-21
So I really convinced myself that I would not order this new MacBook, but I just pulled the trigger. 16 inch M1 Pro coming in January to replace my 2019 15 inch. Can't wait!
Just checking in again, I ordered Nov 1st (M1 Max, 2TB drive, 64GB ram) and it's still showing Dec 17th-Dec 24th... should I be concerned??

Note that others that ordered in your timeframe have not had any movement as well.
EDIT: After looking at the timeframe of your order date; I looked at those who ordered after you and it is odd that pretty much all of the orders on 11/1 have the same status as yours but many who have ordered afterwards have already seen shipping progress. So maybe you should reach out to Apple to see what is going on. It is entirely possible that the other posters who ordered on 11/1 just haven’t been keeping their status up to date on the spreadsheet.

I ordered Oct 29, same configuration, still in processing. But have had the pending credit card charge go off. Based on spreadsheet, hoping to see preparing to ship this weekend.

Ordered mine on November 10th and delivery ETA is Dec. 28-Jan. 4. Crazy seeing some people ordering in late November and already receiving arrival dates from shipping companies. Hopefully mine leaves processing hell soon.

Ordered Oct 27th. 16 inch M1 Max, 32 core GPU, 64GB RAM, 2 TB. Has been estimated to arrive Dec 14-21. Just went to Preparing to Ship this morning.

Mine did that. Went preparing to ship and the eta changed from 30 nov-07 dec to 16-23 dec but ultimately arrived on 6 dec

Ordered 29 Oct, estimated arrival has stayed at 14-21 Dec.
Took 3 days from receiving pending CC charge to go to Preparing to Ship.
I also received a text and email from Apple yesterday saying my order might be delayed. However, in the Apple Store app and on UPS, it’s still showing an estimated delivery of Dec 14. I wonder how accurate this is?
The UPS details says it shipped from China yesterday. I guess that means it won’t arrive on time for the estimated delivery of Dec 14.
We screwed ourselves with the 14" 24core and 64b. It seems the 64gb 16" are getting shipped faster..
I have the same question... It seems like a long stretch that it could go from China on the 10th to North America on the 14th... I have the same delivery date and I received the same e-mail but the date remain unchanged.
If the MacBook doesn't get to North America by Monday morning (13th), I'm sure I will get it later in the week.

Brief back story -- I initially ordered a 16" Max/32/32/1TB on Oct. 19, Nov. 21 delivery. A week later my local Apple store had one in stock, so I cancelled my pre-order to buy it. But my Apple Card took a day to clear, and by the next day the 16 was gone. Oh well.
A few days later a 14" M1 Pro 16/16/1TB was in stock locally so I ordered it. I received it on Nov. 1 so I'm in the Jan. 8 return window. The 14 is xlnt, but I'd prefer 32GB so I decided to go for my original choice, the 16 M1 Max (with the 24GPU).
Now I'm hoping the Dec. 21 delivery date sticks. Cheers!

I think you'll get more info as your MBP leaves Asia or arrives into Anchorage.
Once you do get a notification you'll have at least one day warning in which you could keep your CC pickup or change back to delivery. The flights usually take about 14 hours from that part of Asia to ANC to SDF, and then if everything is working they are shipping to your local CC within 12 hours. Hard to say in today's shipping environment what will happen on any given day.
Mine left China on the 10th and it will be delivered on the 13th. It arrived in the destination city (Montreal) today the 11th. At some point it said delivery was expected on the 10th but I guess delayed flight made that impossible.
