I ordered the same configuration, but with a normal power brick on Nov. 23rd. Arrival Date says 13th-20th, but for some reason I’m still stuck “Processing”. Very interesting. I was hoping it would ship out today, but for now I won’t hold my breath.

I am right there with you. MBP 14 base model ordered 11/23 with window of 12/9 - 12/16. Still in processing. Was hoping to have it before Monday for work, but looks like it will arrive in latter part of the delivery window a week from now.

Got an update that my order has now been shipped! However, it is scheduled to be delivered on 12/16, which is the day I fly out for my ski trip. Date is an “estimate” so I am holding out hope that it comes at least a day before. It is heading to Tokyo, Japan and Yamato Transport is handling the shipment (Japanese company).

Where are you going to ski?

Where are you going to ski?
Hokkaido, specifically Niseko Ski Resort. Hoping for a major snow storm and one is predicted right before we arrive. Fingers crossed!

I do a lot of video and photos so having the new MacBook Pro to process the media during my downtime would be icing on the cake for this trip!

w00t! Tracking number now live at UPS. Apple sent it to me on Dec 3rd with an expected delivery of Dec 14th.

But, there's a wrinkle. It's finally appeared in the UPS system this evening, Dec 9th. UPS indicates that it'll be delivered on Wed, Dec 8th in the afternoon. I'm *fairly* certain that I didn't get my laptop yesterday...Screen Shot 2021-12-09 at 8.08.27 PM.jpgScreen Shot 2021-12-09 at 8.14.20 PM.png

Although... in the app, it indicates to check back tomorrow for an updated delivery date. In any case, time to watch the outbound flights from Shanghai. Because watching it will make it all get here faster. :)

Doubleplusgood, it's shipping worldwide express saver so it should be fairly quick at this point.

And, I expect that it'll be on this flight: https://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS77/history/20211210/1210Z/ZGSZ/PANC

update: UPS now indicates Wed, Apr 15th delivery.

On November 25 I placed an order for a 14-inch MacBook Pro. On December 6 at 2:05 AM I received an e-mail from Apple notifying me that my order is on its way. However, after 56 hours the provided UPS tracking number does not result in any tracking information. A UPS customer representative said that Apple has not provided them with the package and an Apple specialist said that UPS has not picked it up. Are you having a similar experience?

The UPS tracking number does not yet result in tracking information. But yesterday I received an e-mail from Apple notifying me that “We’re replacing your items”. Which means that Apple reordered my order. It seems that it considers the package lost. I was expecting delivery on December 15. Now the estimated delivery date is January 12 —a rather late Christmas gift.

My tracking number that I got from UPS on Dec 5th finally went live in China late last night or early this morning. Now in transit. Apple had said Dec 14th. UPS says Dec 15th now. Apple originally gave me Dec 10-16 so all is good.

There's a chance it might arrive today

Same for me! My tracking number finally went live during the night in China too. Still on track for a delivery on December 14th! I'm so excited! :)

I ordered a 16-inch M1 Pro with 512 GB SSD and 32 GB unified memory on October 20th from a German Apple Premium Reseller due to offering a higher student discount (13% vs 6% in Austria).

I finally received the shipping notice from DHL today after having been waiting for more than 7 weeks. ?

I hope that the package will be delivered by the end of next week, despite the current very high volume of packages. :)

Finally UPS is live and changed the status to Tuesday, December 14th delivery!!!! Getting closer and closer!!!

History:
Ordered 16" 1TB 32GB M1 Pro on November 26 (Educational Store)

December 3rd Shipped on Apple, Not available status on UPS

Date given: Arrives December 15-22

You sure you didn't get it yesterday? LOL Just kidding!
How do you know this is the outbound flight? I had an impression that UPS goes live is when computers arrived to US and passed customs, thats when it's scanned for the first time, therefore we have the UPS update.

EDIT: Ops I didn't see the Shipment progress tab on UPS. It says 12/10/2021 11:12 am label created exactly the same as yours, and now it says On the Way arrived in Shanghai, China. I bet our computers are on the same flight now!

Surprise many people do miss the Touch Bar.
I miss it, but that doesn't mean I prefer the new keyboard. [edit] Oops, I meant the opposite as I do much prefer the new keyboard!!!

I mostly use external keyboards, and always was waiting on Apple to do something more with the Touch Bar to make it more functional for how I use my MBP.

The one thing I do actually miss from it is when I was playing a video on my projection screen I could see how much longer the video was going to last. Way back (10- 15 years ago) I had some way in QuickTime Player 7 to place the controls and timeline for the current video on my MBP screen. Maybe I was using a third party video player, I do not remember for sure. But with my first Touch Bar MBP it was amazing to see that info- it was very important not to touch it at the wrong time or the video would jump to where I tapped the timeline.

So I now again do not have a way to see where I am in that video unless I move the pointer over the video to force the controls to appear for not just me, but for everyone in the room to see. Less than optimal.

I have tried a lot of third party video players, anyone know of one that leave the full screen video pure on its screen while giving me the controls and/or timeline info on the MBP? Thx!

I'm guessing a little bit about which flight it's on, honestly, but based on the current tracking progress. Mine is at:

12/10/2021
3:25 P.M. On the Way
Arrived at Facility
Shanghai, China

12/10/2021
3:10 P.M. Departed from Facility
Shanghai, China

12/10/2021
1:17 A.M. The package is at the clearing agency awaiting final release.

12/10/2021
1:34 P.M. Origin Scan
Shanghai, China

12/10/2021
11:12 A.M. Label Created
Shipper created a label, UPS has not received the package yet.
China

The potential delay could have been at the clearing agency, but the real tell will be if it gets scanned in Anchorage — and that flight lands in about 4 hours (again, not watching, I promise) so hopefully a scan within the next eight hours or so... From Anchorage, since it's UPS, it'll head to Louisville, KY for redistribution in the US before heading back to the west coast for my delivery. So, given a wed delivery date, logistics sort of dictate that it's probably on this flight given the imminent weekend.
