Do parts of the apple website usually go down, just before it gets a big update? I hope to wake up on monday/tuesday morning with a notice telling me the apple site is closed for maintenance.

Out of curiosity, has anyone seen the glitches with Safari 3? I haven't, but figured I had just missed it.

Yeah but it's funny it's happening on Sunday instead of Monday. In the past I remember Apple actually closing the store for maintenance. It's odd that it's still open. Well it is Sunday..
Which leads me to believe it has nothing whatever to do with impending updates and everything to do with the web masters at the Apple Store not being at work on Sunday.
Yeah I thought they people at apple would get breaks on the weekend. Maybe they have stated early in preparation, who knows.
well it didnt last long thought, cause the MBP and the mac mini page are back to normal.
[Edit] My bad, it seems like the MBP page is in flux again.
