Apple waits until MacWorld = Disaster.

Apple needs to updated them soon, especially before the holiday shopping season.

I personally feel they will be updated very soon, if not 10/14, they should be out for the Holiday shopping season...
Makes much more sense to update them while the current stock is low than continue the current generation of MacBooks.

Not necessarily. Those that need to buy will still buy and pay the current price.
If there is a redesign and it is not ready for whatever reason, then Apple have little choice.
I still really hope to see them in October, but there is no real evidence, just a lot of fake pics and unsubstantiated claims (like this thread title).

An update isn't the same thing. Same look and design yes but they update all the hardware parts.
Some resellers may be short, but Apple store UK shows 24 hour shipping for all MB and MBP (BTO hi-res 17" MBP 3 days).
I want to see LED screens(which is pretty much guaranteed, right?)
When I had my MacBook, the only thing that really bothered me about it was the non-LED super glossy screen.
- aluminium
- led display (it would be a plus ut who knows?)
- little bit thinner
- glass trackpad (with Apple's way, it would rock
)- Blu Ray (that would be a huge plus even if its not the most important thing ever)
