Call them tomorrow morning, as soon as its in England they'll know exactly when you can expect it.

Yeah I got 'Its due for delivery on the 29th" with TNT, that was before consignment passed through Arnhem.

I think it now fly's into Dublin or Shannon and if it's in before 9 in the morning at Shannon it usually goes out for delivery the same day.... So i'm hopeful Wednesday - but i wont get my hopes up.

TNT have only been forthcoming today, for me anyway, or perhaps I've pissed them off a little to much!

I'm confused about the online tracker tho, It says my MB was only received in Arnham at 18:50 but at 14:00 they told me on the phone that it had left Arnham and it was enroute to the UK.

Confused!

Well, I have mine! This is the best computer I've ever owned! I love this new keyboard and the screen is amazing! And it's SO quiet! I can't hear a thing unless I put my head right up on the keyboard. I'm gioing to go have some more fun now! ;)

Heh, well, to those of you who are still waiting for your MacBooks, you can savor the fact that even though I have mine, I can't use it for hours - I'm cycling the damn battery! Even though I want to just mess around on it all night long.

you know you can use it while your doing that, it'll happen faster even.

Already did - it's asleep now. Though I'm thinking I should wake it up, I just read several articles that said deep-discharging lithium ion batteries is actually very bad for the battery!

I am happy to say that i recieved my MacBook at around 2 PM today, and i am using it as i am typing this post.

Best change your sig then ;) How do you like it? Ordered exactly the same spec....

TNT are having me on!

I think they must be getting an overwhelming amount of Calls from Apple customers, because she bascially said "oh, I see, from Apple" when I rang this morning.

Now, he contradicted what I had been told yesturday but 2 different people. I was told yesterday that my MB had left Arnhem and was enroute to the UK, however, today I was told it hadn't left Arnham.

I quizzed TNT and suggested that If it hasn't left Arnham by now, it won't get to Wales by tomorrow for delivery (I explained that we still use sheep to get around on here).

Very reluctant to give me any information, a bit peeved off to. TNT Sort your act out!

Yeah I'm not holding my breath. Mine still says passed through Arnhem, but until it get to Shannon i'm not holding my breath. If mem serves me well from previous TNT deliveries, the update betwee Arnhem and getting to the depot before despatched for delivery takes as long as the journey between shanghai and the netherlands....

My status on apple still says 29th, I'll hope for Friday 26th, but wont be surprised if it doesnt come till next week....

it's shipped and on the apple tracking thing it says "in transit to customer" last time i ordered some **** from apple that ment it's arriving today, or has it since changed?

It's changed. The new tracking has only been in use a short while.

In transit, has been the status since leaving factory in china, so
The estimated delivery time is what you should be looking at.

that time is complete BS though, because it's still based on the fact that apple said it would take 5 working days to ship the macbook in the first place but it happened in two.

anyway, now i get to check the consignment every 10 mins and stuff will probably change...

I hear yopu. Im doing the same :) :)

tell me about it - I've never been so glued to the computer before.

I just wish TNT's tracking was a bit more specific.

Well mine departed China with a Kuhne and Nagel flight on the 21st and the tracker still hasn't been updated! Even if the flight was as late as 11 PM local time (i.e. 5 PM in Stockholm), I cannot immagine a cargo plane flying for over 40 hours.

All I'm asking for is three little words... "Out for Delivery"... is that too much to ask? :p

This is too much to handle mine still says the following:

Date Time Location Status
21 May 2006 08:00 Pudong International Airport Potential Connection Delay
21 May 2006 06:17 Suzhou Shipped From Originating Depot
21 May 2006 05:55 Suzhou Consignment Received At Transit Point

Dunno why it hasnt been updated.....

Anyway I'm going to the Apple store Regents street later this morning to have a closer look at the MacBook's and fuel my hnger for them further!:D

Date Time Location Status
23 May 2006 16:08 Suzhou Shipped From Originating Depot

i hope they overnight it.

I think that either they don't bother scanning them very much or the info does not get passed on to the tracking application. Mine still does not mention the delays at the airport. It just suddenly jumped from Suzhou to Arnhem, despite arriving there at the same time as the "delayed" ones. The tracking is not reliable.
