Mine has shipped too, the seller said 4-11 days so i'm sure they will come a bit earlier as things from china Normally do.....Personally I think it will work fine someone on the forum has already confirmed these sticks work faultlessly with MBP's so things should be sweet as a nut! just if my MB would come quicker!!

Ok, so yet another Scandinavian here waiting for a MacBook. Ordered it about 24 hours ago, waiting for it to get shipped.

This is gonna be a long week. :D

I've got similar details showing up in the Apecode Appletrack (see below), however I get nothing with TNT.

I've wondered whether there are 2 or more routes/companies used? Some people are showing Pudong and Suzhou in there tracking, yet mine (and yours) do not.

I wonder if this is due to ordering more than 1 item: right at the beginning the Apple site showed my delivery to be 'merge in transit', which is odd as it shows different estimated delivery dates for the 2 items (one says 30th May, the other 31st May.


For those people with details of Pudong and Suzhou, is that on the TNT tracking or the Apecode Appletracker, and have you ordered just a Macbook or any additional items (do you have 'merge in transit')? If you're tracking on TNT's site, does the Apple site show TNT (mine still says carrier details to be updated shortly, but it's said that since my dispatch notice on the 19th). On the other hand, my order status page on Apple's site shows the

Macbook: Shipped - May 19, 2006 via Kuhne & Nagel Spedition s.a r.

and the video adapter: Shipped - May 19, 2006 via Flextronics c/o Express Cargo

On this page, for the Macbook it has a link for 'track this shipment', which shows:

Current delivery status: In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule, 24 May 2006.

Does this mean delivery will be 24th May (and not via TNT?).

As with many other people, I'm very confused by all this.

My apecode/appletracker details:

I have ordered a CTO MB the 16th, they got my payment the 18th (wire transfer). Also ordered a miniDVI-DVI cable with it.

TNT Track says:

Appletrack from Apecode says
Error: Delivery Note "8037253574" is unknown! (0104)

Damn apple for being so slow, at least they still claim it'll be here by friday (both apple and tnt claim that (tnt on the phone)).

Why I can't use Apetrack ?
i tired my TNT Consignment number as well as my Reference number, wont work, what number do i need?

You can only use Apetrack (the Kuehne&Nagel tracking) if the Macbook is not completely shipped by TNT. For some countries (or deliveries) in Europe, K&N ships from China to an "EDC", and from there, TNT takes over. For other shipments, TNT ships from China to your doorstep.

Until about one or two years ago, deliveries to Germany where handled by K&N and TNT, and now it's only TNT (and Apecode useless for these Reference Numbers).

I don't know why or when which shipping method is used.

I can check my order thru both Apecode and TNTs web page. I use the reference number at Apecode and the consignment number at TNT.

So for me the main delay was my package getting the flight from Pudong in China to Arnhem in the Netherlands.

Is Arnhem the only European hub TNT deliver to from Pudong? I wonder if typhoon Chanchu from a week ago has caused a big backlog that they're trying to clear. In that case, if your final destination uses a different hub than Arnhem maybe the backlog is bigger...
 
ITS NOT FAIR!!!!

Mine which suppoosedly passed through Arnhem on the 22nd, TNT tell me only left there a 02:00 this morning :eek: So it's been sat in TNT's wharehouse for the last two days :mad:

She told me that it might be here by friday, - MIGHT - being the big word there.

Looks like Apples delivery etsimate was right for me, unfortunetly......
