not found!

its coming up as not found, i guess i will just have to wait!

thanks for your help blackscooby!

Tnt!!!

this friday just passed? i ordered last tuesday! its soo annoying that its not come up! actually, i ordered monday late, but they wont have processed anything untill tuesday.

yeh, i had a shipping email on the 25th, weird eh...im beginning to get worried, although on apecode.com i can track it, but i think it has tracked it as far as it can. now it will have (hopefully) been handed over to TNT. the apecode tracker just tracks with keune and nagal, and it says 'flight departed' on that tracker, this whole business is so confusing!

Mines here :) :) :) been here around an hour.

First impressions fantastic, had no probs yet!! Everything works :) :) no mooing, or whine etc . .

So far everything runs well. Compared with my iMac G5, I could hardly notice the difference in speed. In fact, Firefox works a lot faster on the MacBook than Safari which is a real surprise.
The MacBook is quite, the screen is great, love the new keyboard and yes it does get slightly hot after long usage but nothing to worry about....generally no complaints at all.

That sounds great! I'm terribly envious :)

My only one regret is that I wish I've ordered a bigger hard disk. However, I read that you can actually replace the hard disk at a later stage...which in my opinion is fantastic.

There’s a video on the web somewhere. Looks incredibly easy.

Have you got yours yet??

I wish! I think it might be on a plane out of China today. :(

30 May 2006 06:17 Leicester Dwp Out For Delivery

Well, 5:40pm is here - No Macbook. It's on a van, but its not here.

Who thinks TNT are gonna screw it up? LOL

EDIT: They've now got through to the driver, who says it's going to be a 8pm delivery. People can also expect times outside what TNT tell you?!

In this thread earlier people were discussing whether to re-install OSX? My MacBook had come with 2 DVD's does that contain iLife and the comic life? not bothered about MS office.

:)

Yup... those two DVD's contain all the software that's preinstalled on your computer. All you have to do is insert disc one, click on "install os x" (something like that) and the computer restarts and goes into the installation process. Then you choose language and do a erase and install... under "customize" I believe you will be able to deselect the languages you want and choose which programs you want to include.

I hope I was clear (and accurate) enough! Good luck with your new MacBook!! :D

Cool will give it a bash in a min, thanks!

Need as much free HD space as poss as this beauty has alot of data to carry. :)

Whoopee, I ordered my shiny new white Macbook right now!
How long did it take for you guys from ordering to the shipping notification? I'm already getting impatient ;)

hmm, first time Mac user here, so i've transferred a load of music from my pc and installed a few programmes today, but 2.7GB sounds a lot better. If i want to cut it down to that much will i have to take the hit and lose all the stuff i've done today?? If that makes sense??

One day from ordering to shipping? My hopes are rising (but I don't think I'm going to be that lucky, I upgraded the HD)...

Yeaman... 4 days waiting for tracking, the delay was not "potencial", was absolutely clear :D :D
Have a concert on Friday, I will use the macbook to record with Logic. Hope it will be here.

Apple sent me an e-mail today:
We lamented any disadvantage created by this delay and we guaranteed that we will try to give order as rapidly as possible to you. Kindly, Apple Store

Hi there, I'm sure you should be getting yours sometime soon. If your Macbook left China today....mine took exactly 1 week from leaving China to my doorstep. Left on Friday 19th May and got hear on the 26th. I took it into work this morning...and my baby got a lot of attention from all my colleagues. Lots of compliments from everyone. Some of them were totally blown away by the performance, design and Tiger!! I hope you'll get your by this Friday so you could spend this coming weekend playing with it.

Best wishes and do drop me a line when you receive yours.
