TNT tracking

im sure this has been covered already, (had a lok but there are 30+ pages to look through!!!) but how can i track my macbook through TNT, do i have to wait untill it gives me details on the apple tracking bit?

i can track it through the apecode, saying the following:

27 may 06 32 55 flight departed CNSHA50 05 jun 06
27 may 06 32 05 Flight Booked Kuehne & Nagel Shanghai
25 may 06 00 04 Picking confirmed, EDI received CNSHA50
25 may 06 30 63 handover at supplier CNSHA50 05 jun 06

Your shipment status (Delivery Reference No. 80XXXXXXXX) shows my order as delivered.

Please correct this: Only 1 of 2 items has been delivered. The Applecare pkg. was delivered and signed for friday. I have not yet received my MacBook.

When delivering the Applecare pkg. the TNT (delivery) driver said that he had forgotten the Macbook at TNT's Copenhagen depot and that he had verified that it was there and will be delivered Monday.

I have, however, so for been unable to get the Danish TNT offices to confirm this. The TNT tracker still shows same incorrect information as Apple's status, and I have been trying to make them correct it Friday afternoon and evening with no luck.

Therefore, please follow up with TNT.

I thought I had it bad waiting 5 days for the plane from China! LOL.

Just want to report that I'm now using my new machine. It is very nice. To all of you who are still waiting, keep it up! Big up to the people in the UK with their bank holiday who had the same delays as I did. Once you receive yours tomorow it really will not matter one bit anymore..

That means, your Macbook was already out there in the wild of Suzhou when I just received my financial approval! I feel really sorry, you should contact Apple about this situation.

As can be seen Apple does care about MacBooks getting lost.

Just got my MacBook!

Well... I ordered my white 2Ghz MacBook (everything standard, I'll max it out later) on May 22, received in Valencia, Spain, on May 29 instead of the previously ETA June 1.

It does the small mooing now and then, but after my pc laptops (it's my first Mac), I'd qualify it as being silent and yes, quite hot, too. These two are the only concerns I have! Every thing else is impressive!
I can't wait to put in it the two gigs of RAM!

Er... just one thing... Is there a "DEL" or "SUPR" key? I'm not used to it, and I keep ejecting the CD!!!

was supposed to be here on june the 1st according to apple but that changed to june the 6th which then moved to june the 5th today, i dont really know when to expect it but i hope its sometime towards the end of the week so i dont have to wait til monday.

Welcome aboard! This is my second mac (got an Intel iMac a few months ago as my first one) and it seems our MacBooks are traveling together, I have the exact same info about the Flight Booking and Flight Departure! At least it won't be traveling lonely May I ask whereabouts are you living?

My Macbook arrived at the sorting facility yesterday at 5:00 pm and left early this morning. The sorting facility is only 45 minutes away, so I'm hoping it will make the truck even though it still says it won't be delivered until Wednesday.

I got mine yesterday. Been busy playing with it. I am overall impressed by it. The screen is flawless, no weird plastic popping out or anything. However the plastic on the left side of the laptop, where the ports are has popped out one or two milimeters. No big deal, but it would be nice if they double checked when they assembled the laptops. I guess I can fix it by opening the computer and reinserting it or maybe tighten one of the screws... I will probably not bother with it.. Its one of those problems you wont look for unless you know in advance. The superdrive is very noisy, especially when I initally insert the disc and when it ejects the disc. I am definitely not going to use the superdrive in a library or on an airplane. The mouse tracker is a bit weird, it isnt smooth but I guess I have to get used to it. The keyboard buttons are nice, no real complain from me. The mouse button is responsive aswell, and doing the right mouse button trick works just fine. During a software update(I updated everything it found, it was something like 300MB!) I was also checking out those high res trailers and while it got a little hot, and I could hear the fan go on once or twice, it was still a pleasent hot... I could definitely put it on my lap with no trouble.
Ohhh yah last thing, when the computer is charging the battery, you can hear those whining and mooing sounds... But as soon as I remove the mag-safe contact, the sound will dissappear. The whining is definitely more annoying than the mooing... but none of them are THAT annoying at all. I could live with it and thankfully they arent present when the computer is going on the battery.

Yippee!! It's not gone to Panchkula after all. TNT now list 2 shipments under my reference ID.

They say delivery is tomorrow, but I don't really believe it. To get from Arnhem to the UK (and go through Customs) is going to take longer than a day ....

ok for me tomorrow maybe. From Holland to Spain it will take one more day. TNT people says the Macbooks arrived to Arnhem yesterday and is in the truck to Spain now!!
