Don't forget that the 13" MBP lets you upgrade to 8GB and the MB still only allows up to 4GB RAM.
Plus an extra 2GB of ram
a lot of you are complaining that the only difference now between the white and the base level mbp is the firewire and aluminum. But what about the SD card slot AND the illuminated keyboard ;]?

The Mini DisplayPort supports video AND audio. Hopefully this will be across the line so that Apple can introduce their own HDMI adapters.
Polycarbonate unibody enclosure?
I wonder how much different the cost would be if they would have made it from aluminum?
But I'm sure no one cares about stuff like that...![]()
Yeah, because it would be too easy to just use what the whole rest of the industry uses: HDMI. No. Apple has to use proprietary plugs again so that they can sell adapters at hilarious prices. (30 Euros for a Mini display port adapter cable. If that's not a rip off, then what is?)
List of differences between the Macbook and Macbook Pro :
- Illuminated Keyboard
- FW800
- Crack resistant aluminum case
- SD card slot
- 4 GB of RAM
Yeah I'd say the MBP still deserve its name. Anyone saying otherwise is not looking at the whole picture. Also, I'd say for 200$, you'd be a fool to opt for the white Macbook. The illuminated keyboard alone is enough for me (why didn't I get the damn thing when I bought mine)

That makes it a pro??
Pro users demand performance. What does a cheap sd card slot do? what does a aluminium case do? what does a illuminated keyboard do etc...?
These are novelties and does not cater to the expectations of a pro user
