apple store offline!!

Happy 7am and the apple online store is offline  cant wait to see what happens. One odd note, when I first noticed that the store was down, i went to best buy's website and searched for mac book pros and the only thing they had on there site was mac books and the mac pro, but a half hour later I checked again and the mac book pros suddenly showed again (all the same specs as the current mac book pro line) hmmmm :) wonder what is going on.... Long live :apple:

please let it be mb as well as mbp!!!!!!! i dont think ill be tracking the apple store page, just waiting for folks here to comment on it when it comes back up :)

I copy this into Text Edit and saved as HTML... How exactly do I "load" it?

um, i'm guessing one would go to file -> open in safari?

Thanks, I tried that but all I get is a page listing the text that I typed.

Anyone else?

make sure when you write the HTML code to set TextEdit to Plain Text:

TextEdit > Format > Make Plain Text

then save it with an .HTML extension, or just rename it with an .HTML extension... loading it can be very complicated i'm afraid... you gotta double click the file... load it == open it.

so much excitement in my veins it can only be compared to ballmer's monkey dance. in fact i think i'll get pumped up watching that video again. :p

give it up for MEEEEEEE

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/4A93 Safari/419.3)

I don't know, maybe its just me, but Safari seems "snappier!"

Thank! The key was formating it in plain text. Now if the store would just re-open...

Why the store is down...

... or some new iPod Socks

Or perhaps, Apple has decided to print the "R" & "L" on the next gen iPod buds in Earth Friendly Soy Ink? Thus gaining even more support from Greenpeace, as well as, Apple Board Member AND Inventor of the internet, Al Gore.
