Just wondering, since the post didn't say explicitly.. does MacRumors get any support from this, like previous MacHeist bundles?.. Since we (readers) aren't actually paying anything for it..

Still, I'm not complaining about free.. I originally signed up for Hordes, but since watching that introductory video (yea, after I signed up :p) I think I'll be able to use a few more apps.. ShoveBox, WriteRoom and TinyGrab look pretty useful. Too bad I don't use Twitter, and Pages+Word does it for me on the wordproc front.. hehe

Ok, Im not going to complain because this is free and that's awesome. But I sure hope this nanobundle isn't going to replace the amazing bundle where hundreds of thousands of dollars were given to charity. Is it?

My personal reviews of the Apps if they costed the original price:

ShoveBox: Doesn't Evernote do this for free?
WriteRoom: Pages Fullscreen feature?
Twitterific: I thought this was free already.
TinyGrab: DropBox's Widget is just as fast but allows any file type.
Hordes of Orc: Awesome fun addicting game!
Mariner Write: Only useful if you don't already own Page 08 or 09. And if you don't, OpenOffice is free and has more features.

Not trying to be mean or ungrateful. Just saying what I'm thinking. I love Macheist and I cannot wait for their full bundle which I will buy no matter what. Last year's was amazing for just 2 or 3 of the apps alone.

I'm not surprised these apps are free. If they were really useful would they be for free? c'mon!

If everyone had bothered to read what the requirements were then no one would be asking about serials. The software isn't unlocked until they reach 500,000 participants. Then we get our serials. Sheesh people. lol

Actually, UniPro, if you had bothered to read what the requirements were, and taken a moment to understand what was said, you would understand that only Mariner Write serial is unlocked after 500,000 participants.

I bookmarked the page earlier, just checked it, and I've got 5/6 serials for the apps. I'll get the info for Mariner Write after the 500,000 participants are there.

Ah I stand corrected then. I thought the 500,000 mark applied to all the programs. My apologies.

It's cool. Misteaks happen.

No, this one's a complete freebie. We don't get anything from it.

Shovebox looks quite interesting. I like Writeroom too even though Pages has a full screen function. I don't get why Writeroom costs $25 though. It's under 900kb too.

They certainly seem to have been ill-prepared for the traffic... hope their server issues are straightened out soon.

A side issue, the Hordes of Orcs game apparently is not a fan of the Nvidia Quadro FX 4500 video card... all I get is a white screen. Can't reach the support site to see if anyone else has had that issue. (server trouble there, too, it seems)

Seems like a great bundle, though, if all the glitches get worked out!

Got my serials after about an hour of waiting.

Twitterrific's good - but I don't know if I actually use twitter enough to justify having it on all of the time.

WriteRoom is good but when I do use word processing, I usually use footnotes and other things that aren't in it etc. It would be really useful if I were writing a novel or thesis.

Tiny Grab refuses to open for me.

Shovebox I think will be handy for web clippings I want to share or email.

Hordes' website is down so can't register.

All in all, not bad for free - but still a few glitches.

I think Writeroom is designed for BSOD aficionados, since they can work against the familiar-looking blue backdrop. ;)

No thanks

These are 30 day free trials, not free applications. No thanks. I don;t appreciate the deception.

fool if you read the receipt page it'll tell you it's still generating the serial number -_-

it amazes me that people don't read carefully these days anymore... not good!

Sweeeeeeet!

All the applications are pretty useless to me and I think a lot of people would agree.

To those who say it's free. Not really. There is nothing free in this life. They are buying your time and attention for these useless apps.

To me it was a total waste of time but i hope others may find it useful!

I git my serials after about an hour.

This is a fantastic offer from Macheist IMO. I've got quite a lot of software from them so far as well.

I love it!
