Nice!

... and I don't understand the people fearing spam. Just create a new e-mail and, after all that, too, is free.

What a bunch of useless stuff. Two word processors I don't need (Textedit and NeoOffice are fine - if you want to write undisturbed then here are two ideas: unplug your internet connection or get a sheet a paper and a pen), Twitter I don't use, Shovebox is pointless (I have a folder on a desktop for dropping off stuff), Tinygrab just automates a process which takes less than a minute with stuff already on the Mac anyway. What would I pay for it? Nothing. It amazes me that people have the time to waste writing these so called applications.

I think you don't really understand the idea of "WriteRoom" and don't write very much. It's a nice little program.

how about "Hordes of Orcs"? ;)

Downloaded all into my MBP! Mariner Write rocks! :D Thanks Macheist for the freebies!

I'm a proof reader and a children's book writer - I write all the time and can concentrate on it without silly apps, thanks.

Hordes of Orcs? Yes, I forgot about that - it doesn't look too bad, actually.

Worthless to you maybe not to others. Also it's free how could anyone complain or even say something negative.

I already have a MacUpdate account. I don't feel like signing up for a MacHeist one. It's just too tedious right now for the lack of utility.

I like WriteRoom but I dislike MacHeist more.

I like MacHesit - I bought the last bundle [$49?] for WireTap Studio alone... and was more than pleasantly surprised with Kinemac 3d [quite cool], and the games Cromag rally, but my favorite of the package and worth every penny that I didnt even expect... World of Goo - that was par excellent and I would have not known about it or tried it otherwise. ;)

Peace

Thank you

Wow, thanks for this bundle and for making it free! How some people can even think of complaining about the bundle because that this or that app happens to be useless to them is simply beyond reality. A bundle is what it is, i.e. a bundle of apps where some but never all will initially appeal to the user.

Personally, I bundles are a great way of exploring new apps. It reminds me of the old days before Internet where the way to learn about new apps was through the discs that came with MacWorld, MacFormat etc.

Even though I am mainly excited about Shovebox and Twitteriffic (I already bought Hordes) I am looking froward to trying put the other apps too. I am currently waiting for the serials (10 min)...

cool i finally have my serials... took 2hrs...
thanks at all the devs that participate...

Will add to the comment about apps being given away because they are about to be updated...

While I cannot say if that is or is not so for these apps, I will say that two of the main apps of the last MacHesit Bundle have been updated [freely] since my purchase.

So thats a pretty cool deal, and what they have now are free apps, and no one is forcing anyone to try them - but who knows, if you do you might enjoy one of them. [As mentioned World of Goo blew me away and I would not have ever known about the app had it not been for MacHeist throwing it in the bundle]

Peace

Tap tap tap is $2, not $1

You listed the unit calculator iPhone app as 99 cents but it is $1.99 when I went to the iTunes App Store. I bought it anyway but suggest you update the ad.
