Anyway, this is the "All the little things" topic, not the "All the little complains" topic.
Honestly I largely gave up on it. These “All the little things” threads used to be really fun to follow and see what small details people would discover in new macOS releases. Now it’s mostly reporting of bugs (this thread isn’t for that either) and unfiltered venting of complaints, up to reaching a point where people actually start claiming the interface is making them physically sick? Wild.

If they would just make the three colored dots bigger that would have solved 75% of the problems. And do not anyone tell me to use a keyboard. My hand is ALREADY on the mouse, why should I move it? One needs a damn electron microscope to access those effing dots F U Apple! I'll say it again, NO MAJOR change was/is necessary. It is all make work BS. Reeks of "big brother knows best".
with that thinking, we'd still be running some early pre-os x system; change is moving forward (altho of course, not always to people's liking). and what's wrong with the color dot size? 🤔 also, what about key commands with the hand that's not on the mouse? 🤷

I did not say never update/refresh/modernize the MacOS. Incremental updates are proven to be the correct way to go. Fair point about the left hand. That is simply not the way I want to do it. And if you do not get it about the colored dots, well, I cannot help you. Some do, some don't.

"Incremental updates are proven to be the correct way to go", in your opinion; got it. and if you don't want to use your left hand, that's your choice, not a design flaw. meanwhile, you can change your screen resolution if you want things bigger (like the colored dots).

I miss that too. These threads use to be interesting and fun, not two people complaining back and forth.

Let me be more clear. From an accessibility/UI point of view, the colored dots are 100% incorrect. Takes WAY TOO MUCH FINE MOTOR CONTROL TO GET THE POINTER INSIDE THAT DAMN SMALL CIRCLE. There is no reason on God's green earth that it should be that way. Look at how Windows does their version to see the correct way to do it. No effing circles! BIG SQUARES. And of course, it is MY OPINION. I am the one talking! And IO for sure am not going to ENLARGE Everything else just to get those bigger. Sheesh. Ridiculous.

you don't have to click the pointer inside the colored dot, you just click the dot. simple. but if you have some motor control issues, perhaps explore the accessibility options.

there doesn't seem to be any (or much?) discussion about the dots, so it's not an issue for everyone. and am sure you'll adapt, like we all do (or learn some of the basic key commands; they're really easy to use). good luck, for real 👍

Actually, you DO have to click the pointer inside the dot. Try it with the pointer NOT touching the dot and see what happens. All good. Nevertheless, I expect better UI/UX from a trillion dollar company. That is all.

Something isn't automatically bad UI/UX just because you dislike it. This is honestly the first time I've seen someone gone all out on the window control (traffic light) buttons. Can't say I've ever had any issues with them and I've been a day one Mac OS X user. I can see though how for some people it could be beneficial to be able to increase their size. In general I feel they would probably look better in combination with the (yuk) increased window corner radiuses of macOS Tahoe.

hmm, i just click on the dot (which happens inside the dot), and everything works. i never have to think about the symbols therein 🤷

I never mentioned any symbols. One has to click the dot with the cursor INSIDE the circle. Circles are passive aggressive when it comes to clicking on them. Square or squareish is better.
clicking on the dot or in the dot seems to be the same thing; not sure what's happening for you 🤔

the dots have always been round

How immature and destructive. Couldn't you just wipe boogers all over their keyboard like most normal people?! 😬
you are clearly mixing things up here - setting the system language to “tlhlngan Hol” is the way! 🤜🤛

I subjectively think that the music and sound quality in the Tahoe is better than the Sequia. Could that be true? Other audio driver?
I noticed it on my Apple TV and HomePods 2. There's more separation of instruments, particularly percussion. It is very noticeably changed (for the better)!

I've had a semi-long standing bug with my MBP Keyboard brightness dropping to zero for some reason. I'm sure something is triggering it, but I can't figure it out. So now in macOS 26, I can just add the Keyboard Brightness option straight away to the Menu Bar so I don't have to click click click click to get to it anymore.. Hurray?

When you save a Mail attachment, a little ✉️ icon is added next to its name in Finder, which links back to the original message. Either this is new or I've never noticed it before.

Did they add an option to increase font size in Reminders, or is it still the size of mosquito poop?

I'd love to use Reminders as I like the way it works now in iPadOS 26 (the only device I felt brave enough to load the beta on). But I can't stand the tiny font in MacOS.

Looks fine to me. But you can choose any size from 10 pt to 42 pt for Reminders by going into System Settings → Accessibility → Display → Text size
