macOS 27 - working and non-working apps thread

Do we get a new thread each time a new Beta build is dropped or do we keep using this one? I'm asking because my main app of focus is usually Cisco Secure Client VPN and I have had it work in some betas and then break in others.

"Thaw" is a fork of "Ice" which works well on Tahoe.
There's active work happening for Golden Gate, and promising initial results. Hopefully, well sorted before release. But, I can understand their hesitation to immediately be working against a "moving target".
(It looks like Apple has made changes here, which will break all existing menu bar management apps.)

Cisco Secure Client, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Claude, Logi+, Firefox, Discord, Edge, Windows App (Beta), Termius App (Beta), WIPR, Bitwarden are all working fine in Beta 2 on a M1 Max Mac Studio as well as a M4 MacBook Air.

Does Logic crash because you have a profile set to start when you launch it? What happens if you hold the Option key immediately after opening and before the loading/splashscreen comes up?

There are two software removal programs with similar names:

App Cleaner & Uninstaller - V 9.2.3

and

AppCleaner - V3.6.8

Both perform a similar task, but are two distinctly different programs written by different authors.

MacWhisper is working for me.

MacWhisper is no longer handling diarization at all (no detection of individual voices). The developer is working on a fix, but notes challenges with the new CoreAI framework.

I'm not convinced onedrive is working well. It just deleted 800 files of mine which needed to be restored from recycle bin. So I would keep on eye on your recycle bin inside onedrive.

I'm not convinced onedrive is working well. It just deleted 800 files of mine which needed to be restored from recycle bin. So I would keep on eye on your recycle bin inside onedrive.

That’s another Wednesday for OneDrive.
