I also get it. Funny to think, I was always making fun of Microsoft for messages like “some error occurred, no idea what”.

If it doesn't work. Its Apple's fault. If it was just one person, then fine. If it's literally every other person its a significant issue.

Click on Details and then select Restore Defaults. Then enter password. Close the window and reopen and you should see the latest update again. You will just not be able to install it yet as it still appears to be down.

Do you guy really know why for god sake does our mac became slow when apple's servers has problems ? Is that because we are "connected" to them sort of, each time we lunch an app ?

Agreed, that is the greater concern. Just trying to be optimistic. It's likely just apple checking to see if the software has the right certs and permissions to run.

Yep. As soon as the server is back online everything should be fine again.

I wouldn't block the server for the time being, because you might forget about it and therefore permanently disable a security feature.

Apple doesn’t host its own servers. It uses other businesses. None of us know the cause of all of this. It makes no sense to blame Apple at this point.
