It could simply be that iCloud is having a temporary glitch, as you say the data is going from your phone to iCloud web. Do things sync the other way?
Hard disagree. That isn't true pre-metal aqua design and still it looks like a direct descendant to me.Golden Gate is decidedly not Aqua:

Generally it is responsive apart from two issues on my MBP. Scrolling in icon view in the Applications folder with a tab open can be a little jerky. The rate at which letters appear while typing also feels a bit off.I have a question for you, especially for those who have been using Tahoe and now are using GG: does it feel more responsive? I was going to use “snappier” but my question is serious and legitimate, as this release is supposedly fully optimized for Apple Silicon…
Works here, but I don't have Siri enabled, just standard Spotlight. When using the new Siri/Spotlight, does cmd+Enter work for anyone to open location? I can't seem to find out how to do that anymore.
Are you virtualizing Tiger?
Using Bezel app for iPhone mirroring. Works perfectly.I can't get iPhone Mirroring to work. It constantly crashes my phone.
could you try this out with a file?Opening siri and just pressing ⌘-enter with nothing else typed, brings up this:

Virtualized it, but it is slow as molasses. Apart from taking a trip down memory lane and taking screenshots during that trip, it does not run well. Are you virtualizing Tiger?
Which virtualization software are you using?

Interesting future we've arrived at here. What I always liked about computers is that you didn't have to verify their results. Verifying important details was the computer's job.Always verify important details. Siri is an Al that may make mistakes.
Now you have to take Siri's answer and look it up on the web to validate it? That seems backwards.Interesting future we've arrived at here. What I always liked about computers is that you didn't have to verify their results. Verifying important details was the computer's job.

This is standard language for all AI tools these days. Gemini, Copilot, ChatGPT, etc. all display similar disclaimers.Interesting future we've arrived at here. What I always liked about computers is that you didn't have to verify their results. Verifying important details was the computer's job.
Is the weird capitalization supposed to be an acronym for something? PIEMAI? Or PIGEMAI? I'm not following the point you seem to be trying to make, can you clarify?Either what Purging Intel gave Even More Augmented Idiocy took back,
You should just use Brave. I have that + the SponsorBlock extension and I never see any ads on YouTube at all. I just use Brave exclusively for YouTube.I've always had YouTube issues on safari - still can't get it resolved - half the videos won't load and always get *cannot connect to the internet* - I have gig internet - tried changing dns etc -

Fixed in beta 3I'm noticing Contacts sync on Golden Gate seems broken. iOS 27 and iCloud.com stay up to date, but changes don't get pushed or pulled from GG correctly. I've turned off sync via iCloud settings, and the handshake doesn't seem to corrrect
Has anyone else experimented with this bug? Figure any way to correct it in GG?
Since I've become aware of it again, I see at this point my Mac is off on contact count by six or seven.. I've also killall contactsd to see if that'll trip it. No VPN, etc
