It could simply be that iCloud is having a temporary glitch, as you say the data is going from your phone to iCloud web. Do things sync the other way?

Hard disagree. That isn't true pre-metal aqua design and still it looks like a direct descendant to me.

Generally it is responsive apart from two issues on my MBP. Scrolling in icon view in the Applications folder with a tab open can be a little jerky. The rate at which letters appear while typing also feels a bit off.

When using the new Siri/Spotlight, does cmd+Enter work for anyone to open location? I can't seem to find out how to do that anymore.
Works here, but I don't have Siri enabled, just standard Spotlight.

Fails miserably. Not the first time Siri has totally lied about what's possible.

I asked Siri, and it hallucinated an answer. So much for understanding what the phone is actually capable of. I'll log a feedback and try not to swear too much in it. "Siri invents settings which do not exist" logged. Apart from my passive-aggressive title, I was polite 😁

Virtualized it, but it is slow as molasses. Apart from taking a trip down memory lane and taking screenshots during that trip, it does not run well.

Interesting future we've arrived at here. What I always liked about computers is that you didn't have to verify their results. Verifying important details was the computer's job.

I've always had YouTube issues on safari - still can't get it resolved - half the videos won't load and always get *cannot connect to the internet* - I have gig internet - tried changing dns etc -

This is standard language for all AI tools these days. Gemini, Copilot, ChatGPT, etc. all display similar disclaimers.
Is the weird capitalization supposed to be an acronym for something? PIEMAI? Or PIGEMAI? I'm not following the point you seem to be trying to make, can you clarify?
You should just use Brave. I have that + the SponsorBlock extension and I never see any ads on YouTube at all. I just use Brave exclusively for YouTube.

I managed to solve it, it was the PIA VPN app I had installed, even thought it was disconnect and not even running in the back ground was causing the issues.
