I have problem with Reminders app. After I switched from Czech to English (for new Siri), Reminders crashing every time. Only disable iCloud sync helps, but I need it.

How’s the security situation? Did they put on more bolts and locks, meaning is it any harder to run unsigned apps (I don’t expect it to be easier ofc)

I keep getting these annoying popups whenever I open an app saying "HEY! [app name] was downloaded from the INTERNET! Are you SUUURE you want to run that?" for apps I downloaded under Tahoe.

When checking from within Little Snitch, it still reports “No update available” to me; I'll try using the dmg file.

For now, in order to access the network, I haven't uninstalled Little Snitch, but rather deactivated it in System Settings→Network→Filters. It's easier than uninstalling (I thought I'd share this possibility, as it hasn't been mentioned in this thread).

There is a setting to show pre-release version updates.

Should work now. But I am still on Sequoia and can't test it.
Especially on Mac, I resintall fresh - so this post gave me some hope! I downloaded the nightly from the link shared, but I'm getting this on my attempt to install

Fresh = clean install of everything? Or only using full installers instead of updates?

It looks like some setting in a previously installed version of Little Snitch is preventing the installation.

Have you installed the older version before? Even if you uninstalled it the settings are still stored in the library.

To delete all Little Snitch setting and rules you could run this in Terminal and then try to install it again.

Code:
sudo rm -rf '/Library/Application Support/Objective Development/Little Snitch'

I wiped my Mac completely. Brought everything back by installing everything fresh, and allowing Apple's cloud to bring back files

LS does work, but it cannot get through the Tour - it always aborts at the end

I'm supposing another nightly shortly will fix it, I reported my experience with it

My Macbook Pro is stuck on Sequoia forever, so I can’t join your fun until it releases publicly and I install it on my work laptop.

Are MacOS folders as funky with the dark left and right outlines like iOS 27 beta 1? Any chance anyone wants to post a zoomed light mode folder with a light background?

Curious to see how this all unfolds the next few betas

FYI, for anyone that may be interested, LocalWP does work, to some degree....

LocalWP opens and appears to work ok, until you try to load wp-admin, in which case you get:

Code:
502 Bad Gatewaynginx/1.26.1

The fix is to add this inside the wp-config.php file:

PHP:
define('WP_HTTP_BLOCK_EXTERNAL', true);
For anyone who may run into this. Update the php version from 8.2.29 to 8.2.30 and then remove the wp-config.php code and it then works again.

Re Siri on Mac: while I was on a work call, I typed-to-Siri to open my most recent email from so-and-so, and up it popped. Really helpful; no searching.

It seems like Apple finally fixed the Now Playing menu bar widget for Safari? It used to constantly show videos from Safari even after the tab was closed, until Safari was quit entirely; now it disappears as soon as the tab is closed.

Okay so I installed beta 1 a few days ago and everything works perfectly, but I can't seem to get Fitness activity streamed to my Mac.
Does my watch need to be on 27 to be able to do that? Both iPhone and Mac are on os27, but my SE2 does not support it. I can't see any other reason it's not mirroring.

I noticed that photos taken on my phone weren't syncing across to Photos on MacOS.

Going into Photos settings, it seems the photo library was no longer set as the system one syncing to iCloud. Clicked to turn it (back) on and all's working.

After changing the default macOS 27 Wallpaper and one or two reboot a few days ago, I can no longer changes wallpaper.

Update: A restart fixed this issue.

No 😁

I think the upgrade temporarily switches the photo library to a new one, but for some reason it didn't swap it back to my main one. So, clicking Photos opened the main one (as usual, as it should) which I discovered was somehow no longer the system/iCloud library. I just turned it on, and paid no heed to that pop-up!
