Siri AI now takes up 50GB, up from 30GB in beta 2

So, is Apple making progress fixing all of the "edge-case" issues with core foundation and everything else that's spamming Console?

Menus for the Accessibility keyboard shortcuts are having a bad day:

Looking normal here. I wonder why you have blank space were the sidebar is ending here and why I instead have a wider sidebar.

Somehow search in System Settings is not working anymore. I only get a list with "Suggestions" and "Recents" and it's staying when I type anything in the search field and also doesn't search when I press Enter.

I have still less even with the new Voice model activated.

But macOS all together is even smaller. Very strange. Something can't be correct with those numbers.

Also System Data shows just "Calculating" forever like it already was the case in the previous beta.

appstoreagent, dasd, siriactiond issues seem to have been resolved for me. on a Neo, an M4 mini and my MBP M5 .

Yes it seems fixed. I already wanted to post about it but wasn't 100% sure. Now I think enough time has passed.

menus are unresponsive in safari since the previous beta.
I can't click on the menubar and select items. I have to click out of safari and come for it to work.
it happens randomly.
I already reported it twice on the feedback app

I'm having all sorts of problems with this Beta. Cannot get a single mail out on my .Mac account via Apple Mail. Any suggestions ?
Betterbird (www.betterbird.eu, Thunderbird clone, uses the Thunderbird Folder in the user Library so don't delete that) works in Beta 3.
So does Outlook v16.110.2 from Home and Business Office 2021 (outlook.com account).
Aple mail has been nothing but a headache for me for years, although some still persist in using it.

My display options are messed up on my ultrawide now. I can't get larger resolutions I had before.

Do you mean this:

Instead of this:

It changed here too although I didn't use that standard view for many years. I didn't notice it changed because I mostly use BetterDisplay when I want to change anything.

You need to click on "Advanced..." in Display settings and activate "Show resolutions as list".

I have the list. I can normally get to 3840 x 1080 on my monitor, but since this update I can only go to 3072 x 864 and when I try to change to a higher one it doesn't like it. I had to use BetterDisplay to force it.

Scrolling is broken when zoomed in on photos using Quick Look in full screen. Exiting full screen fixes it. This was also an issue in B2.

The menubar cannot be selected when using Preview in full screen. The menubar can be selected again after exiting full screen. This was also an issue in B2.

BetterDisplay might be borked on this beta...

Woke my machine from sleep and my display went crazy, turning the brightness all the way down by itself to the point of not being on. Fought with it by holding brightness up and it pulsed and fought and continued turning the brightness back down on me.

Eventually beat it out in our war of attrition by holding brightness up long enough to see BetterDisplay and quit it. Issue immediately stopped.

Adobe products see to be working much better on the new beta. Both on a Mac mini and a MacBook Neo. Memory usage is much better and much faster to open too

But Adobe stays the same ****** company as they have been before the update. I hope you use cracked Apps from them and you are not actually paying money for it…

Honestly no matter who the company is as a developer I never use cracked apps. But my company does pay for them. Beta 2 had some big issues for me with adobe. But so did some of apples creative studio apps. The new beta has solved issues on both. Even down to boot time of the apps.

Does anyone have problems with connections to any type of VPN? Mine are broken now
Surfshark works well

..resizing problems with Weather and Stocks. Also it takes minutes for any data to appear in both apps..
I've seen a few post this, mine are smooth

I can also confirm the resizing issue with Weather. OS X 10.0 resized more quickly.

Scrolling the Applications folder in icon view still has a stutter.

Resizing Finder windows is smooth.
Smooth here, on both resizing Weather and icon view Applications folder (although icons did have to populate at first)

My Apple Int is 29.6 GB - I wonder if the size of this fluctuates depending on how much is indexed?

Beta 1 & 2 had irrecoverable Contacts syncing problems, as I've previously posted. All is well now, and FAST

I have been having printing issues on all the betas, on multi-page documents from Safari or Helium. Or, the processing of printing is VERY very VERY slow.. happened all day today, messing around with the Printer queue (pause, unpause jobs - pause and unpause the printer) - these issues simply didn't happen before the macOS 27 betas

This is what Adobe Derangement Syndrome boils down to. They never cared whether the apps were one off payment or subscription or whether the Adobe suite cost $2000 or even $20. They don’t talk like that about all the other creative app companies with subscriptions. They are singularly deranged about one company and would pirate Creative suite and crack it even if it was $10.

Don’t say you wouldn’t. We know what pirates do and what they say. We have Reddit too.

Wondering if this new build has broken any apps that were working in the previous 2 builds? Always my biggest concern.
Little Snitch Nightly (6.5 nightly (7300)) is broken in this build, was working in the last beta.

Edit: After reaching out to Objective Development they reported no issues their end and asked me to re-enable the LS VPN filter and … everything is working. This did not happen with the Beta 2 install so will monitor it when Beta 4 comes out.
