I had the same issue, but was able to resolve with CrowdStrike Falcon still being installed. I had to go into Wi-Fi and Network settings for my ethernet adapter and specifically turn off "Limit IP Address Tracking" for both connections. So far it's been working well after that, even though Private Relay was not enabled.
Nevermind, my DNS resolution/loading issues in Chrome have returned after working well for some time. I also have CrowdStrike Falcon, so I'm guessing that's the culprit.

BetterDisplay might be borked on this beta...

Woke my machine from sleep and my display went crazy, turning the brightness all the way down by itself to the point of not being on. Fought with it by holding brightness up and it pulsed and fought and continued turning the brightness back down on me.

Eventually beat it out in our war of attrition by holding brightness up long enough to see BetterDisplay and quit it. Issue immediately stopped.

Try the just released 4.3.5 it has some fixes for macOS 27:

Also since a while there had been several builds of an internal pre-release version 5.0.0, that was recommended for macOS 27 since Beta 1 and has "additional features and improved macOS 27 support".

Receiving pre-release and internal pre-release updates can be enabled in the Application settings.

For version 5.0.0 you might need a new license, depending on the purchase date of yours. But it seems you can still use your current installation for now with an outdated license.
It seems it's only valid for a year now and also the price is higher than when I purchased my one-time license in late 2024 what looked like it's a life time license. Not sure if it changed or I just assumed I can upgrade for free "forever". But there was no "fine print" on the purchase site like now.

I just downgraded to 4.3.5 by overwriting 5.0.0 and the license is valid again and also the settings didn't change. So you can try both without messing up anything.

I am using Mullvad VPN together with Adguard and activated Adguard DNS over Quic and "limit IP adress tracking" is also turned on. No issues in my Firefox based browser.

I tried that, but it only helped temporarily. Both my MacBook Air and Mac Studio were acting up.

When I have Safari in full screen then use Mission Control to open a new app it just goes right back to full screen Safari. Tried restarting and it still does it.

For me, Safari in B3 has developed a strange behavior. When I right click on some web page links to "open in a new tab" everything opens fine except that I notice it downloaded a file to my downloads directory called "inner.html". This is on websites like CNN. Didn't do this on B2. Also, if it does it multiple times opening multiple links this way, it doesn't create multiples of the file, there is only ever one even though it seems to download the same file each time.

Is the toolbar, if I can call it that, in Messages transparent for anyone else? Not only are the displayed buttons and info redundant because they duplicate the sidebar, they look terrible floating over text. Strangely, the toolbar becomes mostly opaque when the window is not active. The opaque version seems like the correct UI.

My guess is Apple is being lazy and using the iOS version like how they gave up with Music on macOS.

Advanced Dictation is now automatically enabled in DB3. Uses the new FoundationModelTranscriber and com.apple.fm.language.instruct_3b.asr_natural_dictation_speech?language=en model.

How can you check this?
Open the Console app, stream the logs for your Mac, and type FoundationModelTranscriber in the search bar. Start a dictation. If you see “Using FoundationModelTranscriber for this request” you’re using the new model.

This is one of the more powerful models that require M3 or later with at least 12GB of unified memory.

Thank you. Looks like I'm using it, but I'm somewhat underwhelmed.

Parakeet TDT v2 is noticeably better.

Chrome/Firefox seems to have difficulty pulling up websites and Discord won't load. Previously, these were working fine. Turning off limit IP address tracking helps temporarily. Safari works fine.

Turns out something changed with the ethernet adapter on my Mac Studio. Not sure what's up, but web pages take a while to load if they load at all. Switching to Wi-Fi fixed it.
network stack is ****ed w/ anything chromium based at least.

It's something more... Firefox isn't Chromium based and it was affected. Discord is Electron, which I think is Chromium-based but I'm not an expert with it.

I'm hoping CrowdStrike or Apple fixes the issue within the next 2-3 weeks. I feel naked without CrowdStrike running. 🤪

Why does it say "Macintosh HD" twice in the finder window?
