Beta 4 has fixed the HiDPI scaling issues with my ultrawide external display that beta 3 introduced
If you can't provide a screenshot, can you describe what additional icons you're seeing? I don't see any new ones, compared to Tahoe or even Sequoia. Are you sure you can't disable them in System Settings?Useless and nonsense icons are still in the menubar. I don't have a screenshot to prove it, but it seems like Apple added more icons to the menubar with this update. The Terminal command to get rid of them doesn't work. I would pay a king's ransom to any developer that can put together an app that gets rid of those menubar icons for good.
Yep, agreed. Other than my previously mentioned current disk space usage, I can't really complain with GG so far.Cannot say anything bad against GG. MBP M4 Max battery life is significantly better now than on Tahoe and iMac is running twice that fast and smooth.
it needs fixing, was fine previous beta. i can get it showing people, content, by stretching the window. beta days 🤷Suddenly, I only get the Messages sidebar with message list if I make the window pretty large. If it's less than about a quarter of my MacBook screen, the sidebar goes away itself. Dislike..
Sorry, I meant icons in drop-down menus like this in Preview:If you can't provide a screenshot, can you describe what additional icons you're seeing? I don't see any new ones, compared to Tahoe or even Sequoia. Are you sure you can't disable them in System Settings?
The only Apple menu icons I have are: Siri, Control Centre, Scripts, Battery, Wifi, and Keyboard. I can disable all of those except the Control Centre itself, I think.
The icons in menus were introduced in Tahoe. I don't think there's a way to remove them. Are they nonsensical?Sorry, I meant icons in drop-down menus like this in Preview:
You're better off starting a new thread unless it's definitely related to DB4 (which doesn't seem likely). My MacBook just gave up on life 😭. It’s an MP M1 Pro running DB4 and the power button doesn’t work. It will not boot into recovery assistant. Please help, wise macrumors 5 Digiters. 🙏
