Have you tried to eject and reconnect it? I see the music on my iPhone there.

But I have other problems, all those Apple Music sections show me just a spinning wheel. Sometime after a longer while it loads (at least it was the case in Beta 3). In Beta 4 I can wait 10 minutes and nothing happens. The search preview is working but I don't get search results.

The iTunes Store is loading normally.

Also it looks always like I am logged out in the bottom left corner. Was already the case in Beta 3:

I can see in the Menu Bar, that I am logged in and even my account balance. Logging in new doesn't change anything.
I was just trying to update my iPhone via IPSW, but the options don't seem to be there anymore.

Can anybody try on their Mac. Pressing COMMAND + F and writing cube, right after I press "e" the finder window crashes and no search or files are found. Reported in Beta1, Still happening on my MBP Max on Beta 3.
Typing cuebe, the deleting the first e, window closes
Pasting cube, window closes
Pasting cubee, deleting an e, window closes

Have you connected via cable or just WiFi?

Mine is not updated yet to Beta 4. When I hold option/alt while clicking on "Check for Update" I can choose a file.

It's updating now. I just downloaded the file.

Has anybody tried running OneDrive app on Tahoe? Regardless of the beta version, I can’t get it to work - it just crashes. Anybody else have this? (This is inside a virtualised Mac OS on running on UTM for info).

No, but ProtonDrive did crash permanently in Beta 1 and 2, had been unusable. Since Beta 3 it seems to run fine again without getting an app-update. In the meantime it got an update I think, but it was the macOS update that fixed it.

I had an issue whereby my Calendar changes, made on MacOS, weren't synchronising over to iCloud (and hence my iPhone).

On doing a refresh, I got an error saying the password for iCloud was wrong. Weird. Anyhoo ... went into Settings / Apple Account and everything looked fine.

Doing the above was enough to kick Calendar syncing back into life.

I'm using the MAS Version of OneDrive and it's working fine for me.

Is it really "not currently usable on a day-to-day basis" like the first post says or is it fine for most users already?
I'm pretty excited about this update but unsure if I should install it on my main machine yet

It's really more of a YMMV sort of thing. Of course, with any Betas, some apps may not work. But FWIW, I'm having zero issues on macOS 26, iOS 26, and iPadOS 26...

It is usable. There are some issues here and there and sometimes I need to force close some apps and reopen them, but it's definitely usable.

However, performance is lacking, as expected, and the new UI doesn't really elevate the user experience much, in my opinion.

Edit: Ah sorry – I thought this was the iOS thread. Yes, it is quite usable. UI is still bad tho... but performance with this beta is much better than beta 3 and before.

CMD+Space doesn't work to launch Spotlight. I've tried changing the shortcut to another combination (Opt + Space) - no response.
I've tried to enable Spotlight in the menu bar to start it from there - no response.
I've tried to unplug everything - no response.
Each step has been tried with restarts.
