It's 1.89 GB https://theapplewiki.com/wiki/Beta_OTA_Updates/Mac/26.4
I miss the days of the Combo Update DMGs 🙂

It's different for every kind of Mac. This is on my M4 Pro mini.

My edit was interrupted by the reboot.

Thanks for that website. The zip-file there is 3.5 GB for my Mac.

The full installer suitable for all Macs to update usually will be released one or two days later, often together with the public beta.

It looks like when using compact tabs, the close button X on the tab is now left-aligned instead of being centered.
I kept closing tabs on beta 1 by accident because the X button kept moving depending on the length of the website title in the tab. 😅

I found a change, mBoot in the firmware version.

Can anyone with T2 confirm if there is a change too, iBoot maybe? I only was able to see the number in here:

The biggest question: Is HFS+ fixed? I can't test it anymore.

Edit: Oh I forgot, much more important, are the new emojis there now? 🙈 I don't even know what the new ones are but I heard they were not included in Beta 1 yet.

Installed on M1 Ultra Mac Studio no problem, but on my M3 MacBook Pro it keeps failing while preparing with 5 minutes remaining. Rebooted and tried again, same thing. Anyone else?

How long did you wait? That time indicator is really bad. For me it's always much shorter then displayed. But could also be longer.

I waited as long as it took for the error message to pop up and stop the install. Looks like it might have something to do with Rosetta update. One time it showed an error with that and I can see in the /Library/Updates folder an update there. I can't even "sudo rm -rf /Library/Updates/*" that directory, it's got a giant lock icon on it. I even tried to kill the "softwareupdated" process but permission was denied also.

I think you need to disable SIP. I have no problem deleting the complete folder:

I wonder why the Rosetta update even still is in there...
