Somehow my Internet was partially broken. Not sure if it was the updates fault. But it seems restarting the router helped.

Edit: Seems I am not the only one with Internet issues.

Edit2: YouTube is almost unusable at the moment.

The one where now the paper is visible had a different shade of blue before and a colorful symbol. It's also gone in Finder.

My only customized folder. It came like that with the apps in it.

Little Snitch just wanted me to confirm several incoming connections for my browsers. I never saw this before. Then everything frooze with a stuttering sound from the YouTube video I played and I had to force power off my Mac.

The browser is set to accept every outgoing connection. I never was asked for incoming connections in any browser.

Safari is not useable for me at all now…
Do you happen to have any Network Filters installed, like TinyShield or Little Snitch? I didn't notice any issues with other apps, but Safari would not connect to anything with TinyShield's filter enabled (requests in Safari were still showing up in the TinyShield app though).

Seems this updated bricked my Internet most of the time in any browser and my Mac just froze again and restarted by itself. 😕

Hmm, maybe Little Snitch is my problem. I'll try uninstalling it.

I do not I just have Malwarebytes and I tried turning it off.

So I have some more digging to do, started in safe mode and its working, will try to uninstall MalwareBytes

Update - it was MalwareBytes causing it...

My problem with Safari on b1 was that it would randomly do 2 things: blank out the viewports and render all the tabs in the window useless, or stop responding to mouse input (scrolling is fine, selecting text is fine but clicking links wouldn't work).

Went back to Orion and sounds like I should be sticking with it for a while.

I uninstalled Little Snitch's network extension. No everything seems to work again.
Same here. For anyone else just checking in, I use Little Snitch without the network extension just for keeping tabs on my apps, but I still had to disable the "content filter" in System Settings > Network > Filters. Instantly fixed my internet connection issues.

I edited my post because I confused filter with extension. At first I disabled the network extensions because it was mentioned in the uninstallation instructions. But I needed to remove the filter too (or only) to make the Internet work correctly again.

I've been trying to install it since beta 2 was released yesterday, but I'm getting the error shown in the image. I tried restarting and connecting to a different Wi-Fi network, but it's the same. Is there a problem with the update?

Interestingly, both my Mac Mini M4 and Mac Pro M1 Pro are giving me the same error.

Someone in here who also had this problem on only one of his Macs fixed it by booting into safe mode if I remember correctly.

@WilliApple

You didn't mention the biggest bugs in your video. The network filter bug with Little Snitch and some other app and that customized folders lost their customization, with disappearing icons and changing color back to the selected standard in Dock and Finder.

At the moment I am trying if this firewall also has a problem with it's network filter:

Until now everything seems fine.

Edit: Safari is not working. Only my standard browser.

I now read that Adguard is affected too. But that already stopped working for me in the RC and final version of 26.3. No problem in the 26.3 betas before. Same for Adguard VPN and Proton VPN. But Proton worked again in 26.4 Beta 1. Haven't tried it here yet.

It's different for every kind of Mac. This is on my M4 Pro mini.

My edit was interrupted by the reboot.

Thanks for that website. The zip-file there is 3.5 GB for my Mac.

The full installer suitable for all Macs to update usually will be released one or two days later, often together with the public beta.
Thanks It's downloading as a zip file, how do I install it as a dmg file?
