Sorry that doesn't work. Graphics design has always been criticised. Nothing is above criticism. This whole thread has criticism of Apple's design choices. Read the subject title.

Sorry, I'm not suggesting that art or work posted by this forum's users are above reproach; however, discussions on forums can get so heated suddenly. I try to approach these discussions in a similar way to how I would want to have discussions in person. I just hope to see that courtesy extended.
I don't know if Kal Madda's designs are worth criticism or not, but I would suggest that constructive criticism is more beneficial. Maybe some other readers might learn, too. Save the ire for Tahoe. 😉
That's a better counter point but the design quality still merits criticism and upon second inspection that icon design looks AI generated thanks to its aliased edges.
Random aliasing, random radii and inconsistent outlines so looks AI generated. Icon design requires higher quality assets and anti-aliasing.

Constructive criticism is key. Don't just blast someones work without context then its just an insult.
FYI: Im back on Seqouia!!!! It's crazy how much sharper everything looks without the glassy edges and stuff. Just setting everything how I need it now. It was more of a faff than I thought but got it done in the end. A lot of instructions on how to do it are incorrect so was a bit of navigating that and trial and error get the USB boot drive in the right format. Many websites say it needs to be APFS but it actually needs to be MacOS Journaled. The terminal command you use to make it bootable then converts it to APFS (if you're choosing an OS that needs it - and are using the right commands).

we'll miss you on the tahoe forum, but enjoy the sequioa forum! perhaps we'll see you again with the OS27 betas? looking forward to constructive discussion then 👍
There are people with whom it is possible (and even fun and stimulating) to discuss things.
And then there are the ‘fundamentalists’ with whom every argument is reduced to reactions with smiley faces (mocking) and sterile responses without any real dialogue.
Avoiding these types of people is the key to avoiding pointless discussions. You can't reason with fundamentalists; they only contribute to watering down discussions to everyone's detriment.
Just use the ‘ignore’ button and you will help make the forum readable and useful again

I think you're suggesting he knew that garbled display was a bug. I wonder if his readers also knew or were mislead by his post.
I'm not defending LG. I'm annoyed at both how much Liquid Glass (even without bugs) impacts usability for some and how many bugs Apple had to fix after rolling it out. But, it's important to keep the two issues separate.

I must say I thought you made it clear why you like Tahoe and LiquidGlass. I don’t think that info has been missing. 🙂
Speaking of consistency, it’s a bit sad that a folder one has given a color (again, nice new feature in Tahoe) isn’t reflected if it is placed in the Dock. 🙁
It just shows a folder icon and not even the icon one might have customized on it on top of changing the color.
I hope Apple gives the Dock and App Switcher some more attention.

This is kind of a retraction to what I just posted...
I just checked the System Settings search field after the 26.3.1 update and it's now worse.
I hadn't really looked for this bug in a while. It could be that it's been this way for more than this update. The last time I checked, the garbled text was only an issue if System Settings was launched from a notification. If launched directly from the Apple menu, then the translucency was handled better; the stuff under the search field was only slightly visible and didn't get in the way. With 26.3.1, launching directly from the Apple menu, I now see this:
This particular bug is very minor since one would generally use the search when there is nothing scrolled under it. But, as I started to use the search and consider the impact, I saw that it would interfere if one were having problems finding an item and were trying different search terms and looking (by scrolling) at what's offered. This bug won't impact me at all.
Is it the intention of the design to show that way? That's hard to believe. Maybe the design spec doesn't specify the details and it's left to the implementor to choose the level of fading of background stuff. In that case we're left to the mercy of developers who have not been given enough guidance. Or, the design is just unfeasible and most developers won't master it. Or, it's just a bug. It is hard to know what to criticize.

Just to be sure you're aware - others have reported this bug. I'd heard reports it has been fixed. In post #759, Brent Simmons (a rather famous developer) showed that he was having this bug.
If you're struggling scrolling System Settings make your window shorter. Did you know you can do that? Or, if you can manage to see the general issue rather than the specific, try just moving the Family entry up; it's closer to the top and won't challenge you as much.
Of course, make sure you don't have reduce transparency turned on. That pretty much turns off all translucency and makes most previously translucent things show as black.
Remember, no one here is asking for assistance with bugs. We're reporting them to document the state of affairs. Advice to reboot is particularly bad due to a nasty bug if you use Time Machine (which I do).

I don’t want to get too in the weeds and off-topic, but I wanted to quickly address the claims being made about my work. Again, I don’t wish to get off-topic or in a debate about this, just to defend my work and refute the claims that have been leveled at it…
I create my designs, no AI was used to make the icon, or any of my art for that matter.
As you can see in the screenshot, I created the individual elements in Affinity, and put them together in Apple’s Icon Composer app to add the Liquid Glass effect. As to aliasing, that is also how edges of other Liquid Glass UI elements look when you take a screenshot and zoom it larger than it was intended to be. It likely is something to do with the edge light refraction effect. It’s hardly unique with my icon. And it’s an app icon, it’s never meant to be seen at a large scale… It’s an app icon, not a wallpaper… None of the details criticized are visible at its proper sizing…
