Maybe because the OP doesn't want the contest moved to PRSI.
Also, in the same thread there are avatars that were nominated and weren't included. anjinhamarota was mentioned a few times.
As far as I can tell the OP is the only one who nominated his own avatar. Why are people even taking a thread run by someone like that seriously?
^^ Is it really that big of a deal? The president voted for himself, too. It's not that unheard of. I mean, this isn't a really, really serious game. At least, if it is, I misread the tone of the original post.
Voted. I picked a few based solely on their iconic-ness. Some I like, others are iconic. ...and I agree xUCJXBWx (the moderator) should be listed. I have no idea what his username is but I know his avatar.

the whole contest is fraudulent. There are 100,000s of avatars on macrumors. I need a list to see them all before voting for the best.

That's exactly why I think he should be up there! Just because I can never remember his username, but as soon as I see his avatar I know who he is.

If my count is accurate, only 2822 qualify for an avatar.
Of those, there are quite a few without an avatar. My guess is that you could reduce that number by 20-30% so about 1,975 to 2,258 would have avatars.

Indeed my Jaffatar got a mention in the nomination thread but wasn't included in the vote. Am I upset? Of course not, it's just a bit of fun and not exactly a stinging rebuke of my remarkable awesomeness is it?
Actually, thinking about it it's probably a good thing my Jaffatar hasn't been put up for the vote because he's got a big enough head as it is, the cocky little sod.
