woo Duke sucks!

I picked that upset btw. Doesn't make my bracket any less ****ed though.
 
if you watch espn, it's like duke was the big favorites to win the tourney. i didn't buy duke to get far at all, they are overrated mostly because of their name and history. not that big of an upset that they lost in round two, similar to them losing to lsu two years ago, busting everyone's bracket (mine was unaffected).

Agreed. I had Duke going to the Sweet 16, but losing to Xavier. Duke was rated #2 just because they are Duke, not because they are a good team this year.
 
My bracket is looking like Paris Hilton's... well you know.

I had Duke going to the Sweet 16 and that's all, same with UCONN. I'm not in good shape. So far none of my final four teams have lost.
 
I'm getting mentally prepared for UNC to be upset by Arkansas...it's gonna happen!! First, Duke goes down (best day of the tourney :)) than UNC goes down. Overrated ACC.
 
my bracket is just about done. down to 40% on yahoo overall. i barley care anymore about the brackets (i said this after week one two years ago and only had one wrong pick after week one, which was picking ucla to win the whole thing, and ended up winning the bracket).
 
CBS is pissing me off with these commercial breaks. Greg says ok heres the start of the Pitt Michigan game, then says ok lets go back to the end of the blowout Kansas game. Then they go to a commercial. Then to the Pitt game for 5 secs then more commercials. I see more commercials then actual game.

the networks seem to pull this all the time, they want to extend the time you watch commercials and have you watch less of the actual game. like on fsn, after a game of their sunday night doubleheader, after the first game ends, they say 'the second game is coming up after this' and they were on commercial break for a good 5 minutes, and when they got you to the game, it was just in time for, surprise, another commercial break that lasted a good 3 minutes, so you've spent nearly 10 minutes straight of ads, and at that point, i don't care about the game anymore due to the endless commercial break in frustration wanting to watch an actual game, i'm watching something else or doing something else entirely, and fsn has done this more than once this year.

did cbs extend commercial time this year? the breaks seem longer than before. and it's timeout after timeout, which takes like 20 minutes to get through the final minute of a game (my non basketball liking friend says that's the reason he can't watch it most of the time), and it annoys me too.

and thursday was annoying too, when cbs was on commercials for a good 3 minutes each break, it seemed like everything else was on one as well, which made things pretty horrible for me on that end. knowing that, i counteracted yesterday by playing my game during the commercial breaks because i knew everything else would be on commercials as well during their little breaks. it's all very frustrating.

no illusions of winning here though.

Some great games to watch though. Just want my HEELS to win, don't care about nuthin else.

If we can shut down UNC (assuming they make it), we can definitely keep up with them and possibly win. Outside of the Pac-10, most teams havent seen a defense like Wazzus.

it will screw my bracket to all hell, (not to mention MacNut's) but I would love to see UCLA get beat!
That bracket is a total mess for me anyway, go A&M! Screw my score.:p
 
March Insanity!

Did anyone catch the UCLA vs. Texas A & M game?! Talk about heart-racing moment! I picked UCLA to go all the way this year - but my gawd, they barely squeaked by tonight!


How's everyone else's brackets doing?

Actually I'm in Cary;) The Heels are staying within eye site from my deck at the local Embassy Suites.

They are pumped. Tomorrow will be a good game. I kind of felt bad for Mt. St. Mary. 39 points is a severe drumming.

But as you said, Buh-bye DeMarcus. Work on next year K.

also the stupid memphis game yesterday

i had a lot of money that memphis would win by 25. but noooo they foul texas pan america with 6 seconds left in the game and up 26 to have tpa to shoot 2 free throws and win by 24

Purdue (my college) lost to Xavier and i had them go all the way like every other year. One of these days...
 
Sucks losing Pitt, but if UCLA lost that would of screwed me worse then Paris Hilton on a date.
