whooo-hoo, congrats. I started reading MacRumors before I bought my first Mac (powerbook) and I have grown to depend on it for news as well as rumors.

I hope MacRumors is around for another 100 years, not that I'd be around to see it!

:D

It is my 23rd birthday too. MacRumors, Steve Jobs, Cyroceon, and I'm sure a few others are all celebrating today.

Happy Birthday

Happy B'day MR:) These forums with these people are the reason I come here! A wealth of information and help is always a click or two away. Thanks!

Happy Birthday everybody.

And thanks for all the hard work put in to making this site the best Mac-oriented site in the world.

And now: only 74% own an iPod? Who ARE you other 26%?
:D

Happy Birthday MacRumors!

I was pulled in by the iPhone, and now look at my sig! Plus my girlfriend now has a MacBook too!

Many thanks to Arn and the rest of the team that make this site what it is. And here is to betting we will hit 10 million posts by the end of 2009, many of those being the "where is my mac [insert type here] update"???

Congratulations!! I was told by a longtime Mac user (who converted me and I have since converted 3 others) about this site. One of the only sites that I actually check everyday! Thanks MacRumors!!!:D

Happy Birthday MacRumors (and Steve Jobs)!!! Add myself to the mix of people with the same question, who was the poster of the 5,000,000th post?

And now: only 74% own an iPod? Who ARE you other 26%?
:D
Even though I think that you might understand it, 74% use an [clickwheel] iPod as their regular music device, while the other 26% are a mix of iPod touch users and iPhone users.

EDIT: Neverminds, now that I look at it again, I may be wrong.

- 52% own a MacBook Pro (or PowerBook)
- 41% own an iMac
- 40% own a MacBook (or iBook)
- 30% own a Mac Pro (or PowerMac)
- 17% own a Mac mini
- 2.6% own an Xserve

Surprised that there are more iMac owners than MacBook/iBook owners.
Anyways, congrats MacRumors. :)

But what percentage have Safari crash multiple times a day? I am sure that it is high. I would prefer to have a more stable browser that might be slightly slower, than to have it crash a minimum 3 times a day.
