MacRumors Celebrates Eighth Birthday, Over Five Million Forum Posts

It's been a while since I last posted, but I check the site's RSS feed several times a day pretty much everyday to make sure I get all the latest news and rumors as early as possible. Sure, I check a few other Mac sites, but as the saying goes, "Home is where the heart is", and home, for me, is right here. Many thanks to Arn, to everyone involved in managing the site's operation, and to all the members who make MR the best internet Mac community.

Happy birthday, MR! Happy birthday, Steve! I hope both of you guys will be around for at least another 800 years! ;-)

I've been here a year, and since joining my Mac knowledge has increased dramatically. This really is the ideal place to gain Mac knowledge as well as all the latest Apple news and rumours.

I have been a lurker here for years, but joined recently because this site has proved invaluable to me in planning major purchases and making sure I get the best bang for my Mac dollar.

The community here is truly awesome too!

Happy Birthday MacRumors!

I originally started reading the site (last September) because my sister wanted a Macbook, and I wanted to check to see when it would be updated, and the rumors led us to wait until the Nov. refresh to get it. So thanks MR! I was then sucked in by the site and now read it daily!
 
Happy birthday MacRumors. I think you're the most maturest eight year old I know. If the American Government had a dollar for every post, the could pay for one elementary school to have Macs instead of Dells. Isn't that great?

Happy Birthday. I bought my 1st Mac back in February and then an iPhone quickly followed. Since then this site has been one of my few regular stops on the Internet. I came over from Aximsite and I can honestly say this site has been just as helpful as that site was when I got my X30.
