It sure was a lot easier to keep up with everything going on around here before all you younguns showed up.

With that out of the way, it has been pretty impressive to see this site explode. Scary to think how big it may become in just another year or two.

8 years old?

Let's see... 8 years old. You should be getting your adult teeth, you'll be attending 3rd grade, and you probably are dying to see Hannah Montana! :p

Congratulations on 8 years of being an excellent Macintosh info resource.

Happy Birthday!!

I first started trolling this site in 2001 but signed up in 2003 when I got my iMac. This site was what convinced me to make the 'switch.' Since then, the mac, myself and this site have been inseparable. I have gone to other rumor/mac-centered sites and nothing ever as homey as this one. Its been fun to see how the right sidebar has grown over the past years. Good job Arn. Here's to another great 8 years.

And happy birthday Steve. Here's to another ummm... 53 years? :p

well done, thats awesome. I have been reading macrumurs for ages but when the iPhone was being released in late June, thats what made me sign up and talk in the forums. I love macrumurs, and thanks for the great reading material over the years.

Same here ... :D

Congratulations on all your success! I've been visiting this site almost everday for the last two years. Thanks!

:D

uh...How can some people rate this story negative?

Excellent stuff! Shame that most of the posts were "Powerbook G5s next week!" and then "new Macbook Pros next week!" :p

Wow, I've done over 800 posts in the 5 years I've been here.

Whoa, I've been here 5 years!

Happy Birthday to Stevie and to MR! And glad to be part of the continuing success of the best forum site on the net.
