MacRumors Celebrates Eighth Birthday, Over Five Million Forum Posts

So I am new here, but I was wondering what the ratings mean at the bottom of the articles. Are people responding to the content of the article, or something about the way it is written? I was just wondering why MR's birthday would get any negative ratings at all.

BTW, thank you MacRumors, your site is great. I spend far too much time here.

Well... I was sorta expecting this new redesign MR especially on their birthday. AI is worse. I hope you will also optimize for the iPhone (iphone.foxnews.com has the best loading time even you're on Edge.). Keep up the great work! Don't flame me b/c it's my opinion...

Many thanks too to all those who keep it such an enjoyable place to be.

An example: A few minutes ago a post came in from a newbie with a big long list of stuff to sell. I pressed report, wrote a few words, and by the time it went through it rejected it because there was no longer any such thread! That's what I call sharp shooting!

Will there still be avatar contests when it becomes monthly?? :D
