Still happening on iPad Air, iOS 7.1.2. Loading the home page and then clicking "new posts" to get into the forum, safari crashes. If I click "new posts" before ads load at the top of the page, I can get into the forums.
Letting the home page load completely and then clicking "new posts" to get into the forum, safari crashes EVERY SINGLE TIME.

There must be malformed ads in rotation or something.

Unfortunately, I think this is in part a Safari bug. If you don't plan on upgrading to iOS 9, I'm not sure it will get fixed.

I don't think it's directly related. JavaScript shouldn't be able to cause a browser crash and if it does its a bug in the browser.

@iLunar: with the given advice, would you like to mark this topic as resolved? You can do so by editing the tile of the topic. There's an actions menu, a cog, above your opening post.

(It's for Google, Apple and maybe developers of WebKit to improve the stability of the browsers.)

Thanks
