fabregas was disappointing. I have to tweak my captain picking - I had ronaldo when he was only picking up appearance points and now fabregas when he is doing likewise. Cost me over 30 points at the moment. Well at least berbatov is finally getting points even if he isn't scoring.

Nothing much to show for the day's efforts. Falling farther behind the juggernaut that are the Sporting Dual Cores. We have too many of the same players for me to make up any ground, and it turns out Gerrard and Lampard are better than Hleb (injured) and Smertin. Who knew?

On the other hand, quite a good week for me – 63 points (provisionally) so far, with one player still to feature and all three of my Aston Villa players set to take part in a second fixture for their club.

My only annoyance is that I spent a bit of time agonising over whether to appoint Gerrard or Lampard as my captain. In the end I went for Lampard – and sure enough, Gerrard helped himself to a goal and an assist, Lampard helped himself to a couple of pies.

A good week - 49 points so far, with four players yet to play tomorrow..Gerrard and Keane both came up big for me.

Still hanging around mid table, but the leaders are really starting to pull away - I just hope to finish in the top half.:)

EDIT: I hope Keane wins his appeal against being sent off, otherwise I'll lose him for way too long.

Just picked up Kenwyne Jones as my bench striker, and he might be seeing action sooner than I thought!

64 points for me this week after my defensive duo of Ferdinand and Vidic played last night.

Pretty happy, but with City leaking goals I've brought in Lescott for Corlucka (SP?) who had been good, but not so in recent weeks.

Also lost Elano for a few weeks... Shame Anelka missed that sitter as well. I messed up, forgetting that Elano (My Captain) was out and by the time I checked it was too late. Would have meant Gerrard would have filled that role as well, and of course he had an epic weekend. Bah.

I know I'm not really in this thread guys, but I'm definitely chuffed with 78 points this week. :)

^ I think not, though at this point it's academic since his ban has been upheld. :(

Not a great week, but above the average. I was really hoping for my Man City players to bring in some points - I thought Petrov had an assist on Bianchi's goal but he didn't get any points for it.

I'm missing Keane...my strikers combined for a sizzling 7 points, 5 of which were from Benjani's assist.

Really poor showing for me this week, tallying only 36 at the moment...and the Arsenal guys I was hoping to do well, didn't. A loss for one's team is compounded when it hurts the fantasy team as well, eh?

It does - though my only Liverpool player, Stevie G, was good for a goal this week. So the Reds' loss didn't hurt my fantasy team too much. It would have if I still had Crouch and Kuyt though. ;)

I like to use my FF team as a slight hedge to my real team - liverpool. In otherwords, I don't pick Gerrard, Torres et al - if they do well liverpool will probably win and so I don't mind if my FF team does poorly. If they don't shine then I have the (albeit slight) consolation that they haven't effected my FF scoring. Similarly I have chosen fabregas, van persie, ferdinand, ronaldo and lampard to lessen the blow if liverpools' rivals do well.

Next weekends top of the table clashes are huge: were chelsea and liverpool to win then the top four could all be within 1 point (assuming liverpool win their game in hand). We could have a really exciting title run in for a change!

Not a classic week for me with 49 points... I think though the losses suffered by Liverpool and Arsenal have impacted on a quite a few people's scores so it's not a complete disaster from a Sporting Dual-Cores point of view.

I'll have to get the boys in for some extra training sessions – I don't want any more slip ups!

I see they've finally given Petrov points for the assist. That, plus a classy performance from George McCartney gives me a more respectable total of 51 for the week.

I have no luck picking strikers...I've had McBride (3 month injury), then Kuyt (doesn't score), followed by RVP (major injury), and now Keane. With my luck he'll come back and break his leg or something.

The Liverpool and Arsenal losses probably killed a lot of people's totals this week, though Man U's giving up a goal on Saturday hit me hard because I've got both Evra and Vidic in my back four. A classic case of putting all one's eggs in one basket.

Santa Cruz hat-trick. Ace.

That's going to be a bit of a boost for you! :D

I'm sitting on 14 points after today's outings - all of my defenders and my keeper were scored on, neither of my strikers scored and Petrov got an assist. :(

Kevin Nolan scored but I left him on the bench. By the way, is it just me or is he pulling in a huge number of yellow cards this season? The man needs to settle down.

I've got Evra, Vidic, Giggs and Gerrard in action tomorrow, so even though I'm a big Liverpool fan a United win with a clean sheet and a Giggs goal would be my best outcome....unless Liverpool win and Gerrard, my captain, scores a hat trick. I'm hoping for the latter :D:p

Should be.

Yeah, I've got Ferdinand and Vidic in my team, as well as Gerrard as my captain. Balls to the fantasy team though. :D ;)
