Nice design and features, thanks for the great work.
BTW, I guess it's too late for an announcement. :D

Looks much better and seems like iCloud Keychain will finally work.

EDIT: Tested it and yes, iCloud Keychain finally works for saving accounts passwords on MacRumours! Good job.
Eh; I use 1Password on my iPad, so Keychain isn't a deal breaker for me.

However, I appreciate the responsive layout with this forum software.

The new design was alarming at first and was indeed long overdue to a UI overhaul but after using it for a good duration of time now, it is a welcoming change that was needed to move forward. Great work @MacRumors!

It all feels a bit too big, not sure if that's just me though! Although I do think it's about time the forums were updated!

it's definitely chunkier. But I think that's just the way of the new internet. Scales to fit all devices.

I can tell you this for sure, Facebook and Twitter are garbage mass consumption time wasting social media platforms and seeing all online sites go to them as the defacto login option is a horrible idea. ESPN you can only sign on with those. Many of us realize that those platforms provide no value and avoid having them as part of our lives. Don't force it on us here too.

It's optional, but it is a more convenient login for many.

Shame it doesn't work on some of the older browsers (work is slow to update)

Please message me what specific browsers you are having trouble with and I can look into it.

What p
More worse than better. Will take a lot of getting used to. Like ESPN someone had a wild hair of a 'clean' redesign that is all the rage but when you sacrifice functionality and form to get few better features and completely overhaul how the system works, it isn't actually better. Time will tell.

What functionality has been sacrificed?

Don't like the way how the avatar's are displayed, mine is truncated. Used to be a quadrangle, now its a circle...really?

Update: Fixed that.

Otherwise it looks ...refreshing.

Launched. It's like coming out to your car in the morning. You can't find it because someone painted it a different color while you were sleeping. That's what this 'unannounced' change was like. You announce it before you do it, not after. This isn't actually news anymore!

There has been a 'public beta' for a number of weeks.

Sounds pretty elitist to me. Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back.

Will Safari be zippier?

The complaints remind me of when Apple changed the iTunes icon. You would have thought the world had ended. However, we survived and I think we will survive this as well.

Kudos on the change.

I like it. Only suggestion would be to change the tools and reply buttons to just icons and move the whole group to the bottom right of each post. My eyes won't stop going to them because they seem prominent. I'm sure that won't last and it is unimportant preference but still my only suggestion.

Nice clean design Arn. Could I suggest a border at the bottom of the page separating the last post and the ad. It's too easy to accidentally activate the ad when scrolling through pages on my iPhone 6.
