I like it. Maybe make the font a little bigger like 1 pt and then make the width of each comment wider to make that up in space. Looks like it was built for < 1080 res display.

Agreed. That's what I was trying to say. The site is super squished on my 21:9 screen.

I find it more difficult to read. I can't quite put my finger on it. Perhaps too much white space and not enough distinction between posts. Maybe the lines/bars between each post could be thicker, or darker?

I completely agree. From a designer's standpoint, the left and right borders should be darker to better distinguish the comments section itself.

More worse than better. Will take a lot of getting used to. Like ESPN someone had a wild hair of a 'clean' redesign that is all the rage but when you sacrifice functionality and form to get few better features and completely overhaul how the system works, it isn't actually better. Time will tell.

I can tell you this for sure, Facebook and Twitter are garbage mass consumption time wasting social media platforms and seeing all online sites go to them as the defacto login option is a horrible idea. ESPN you can only sign on with those. Many of us realize that those platforms provide no value and avoid having them as part of our lives. Don't force it on us here too.

I don't participate in any site that uses only Facebook log ins. I hate when sites do that.

Most of us? It is fine to have an opinion but not one that comes across in such a grandiose and self important way. Just because YOU don't like social media is no reason to belittle others who choose to or find value in those mediums.

As to my opinion on the forum, it takes a little getting used to. In terms of suggestions, I miss the latest post previews that you could see before clicking a section. Can this be brought back?

I was surprised at first but already like it more than the previous version.

I was seeing post count on the left earlier, right? I'm not seeing that and glad its gone. Generally I don't think it adds anything.

It's nice to know how active some people are with the site. It's also nice to know when someone just registered that day to comment.
