Maybe I'll get used to it, but, for me, there just isn't bough visual separation of each post in a thread. I don't like not having a box around each post, or at least some bold separator top and bottom.

I also find that quotes are not set apart enough.

In general, for me, it's just harder to read.

Is the toggle at the bottom of the page, which lets you jump to other sub-forums, not going to be there anymore?

Very nice Arn. The new forum looks great. I appreciate all the hard work you and the developers put in on this transformation. :)

It definitely seems more touch friendly and is slightly more responsive on my iPad 3. The user profile and post count along the right side is a nice touch.

On iOS, instead of the MacRumors logo, the bookmark now just says "Xenforo."

EDIT: I also like the new alert system and the User CP controls that drop down just by clicking your avatar at the top right. I do wish there was a more contrast theme though.

EDIT: I love how ads aren't longer than the text now! On an iPad in portrait mode the posts would often be almost an inch away from the right edge of the screen with a long ad at the top or bottom. This site adjusts much better.

I've been logged out three times in five minutes. Is that happening for anyone else?

Edit: I see that "some permissions are still rebuilding" so hopefully it'll come right soon. I've also noticed that I've reverted to 25 posts per page (I normally use 100) and so far haven't found where to change this. There's a section called Style Options in the preferences but nothing appears under it.

I kind of feel the same way, but it's new. I think the adjustment will be easy. It's already a more responsive site for me.

I really am liking the new design. I will need to find an avatar that is better suited for the circles we have now.

Don't care much for the fact that the new system is set to automatically alert me on the forums and via email when a reply comes in on any thread I post on. The only way to disable it is to go to Preferences in the User CP and turn it off.

I do like I get a pop up though when I do get an alert. Really nice.

I agree, the new alert system is nice. However, the automatic subscription-type service shouldn't be on by default.

Not sure I like getting emails when a thread is updated (as a default).

Off to see where to turn this off...

Check your email. You should have something from HexMonkey that may or may not be related to what you're seeing and how to fix it.

Wow. Great job, guys! This layout looks awesome! The round avatars definitely looks modern!

Alert preferences, but there doesn't seem to be a middle ground. I like email subscriptions for *some* threads, but not for any thread I post in. However, it seems to be an all or nothing option.

Some of my details are missing I'll wait and see if they return.

Which details? Like profile details? We lost a few profile fields in the transition. Those aren't likely to come back . Mostly there are some lagging permissions that will take some time.

Haven't received anything, but clearing cookies appears to have fixed it.

Edit: Looks like automatic post merging doesn't work anymore!

LOVELY re-desinged site; SUPERB. Now, to get that HORRENDOUS, clunky MacRumors logo thrown out and re-designed, to match the new theme :)
