I really like the new design and "Quick Navigation" button but I hope that the site becomes less resource intensive once all of the maintenance is done. Would it be possible to still get a "User CP" or is that limited to vBulletin?

It'll take some time to get used to, but I'm definitely liking it better than the previous

Let us all be thankful to @arn and his team for getting this done. I know that I greatly appreciate it. I am sure most of the bugs and quirks will work themselves out after a few hours of rebuilding databases and such!

Is there any way to EXCLUDE forums from the New Posts search? For example, vB allowed &exlude=156,123,222 query string to be appended.
I can't find this option either. It sure would be nice to have it back as I don't come here for political or community discussions.

Yes - that and Apple Watch ad nauseam.

Doing a quick google search of this function in xenforo -- seems there's no such animal without some sort of extension or add-on. What a pisser.

I guess it's MacRumors out and WatchRumors in for awhile, since 80% of the threads on New Posts search seem to be about the damn Watch.

Disable that in Alert Preferences.

Alert preferences are for your notificaifons on the top right. Not emails. If you look at the Options, it lets you turn off receive email notifications on replies.

"more modern" doesn't even really mean anything. It's following the current trend of colorless and flat UI which makes it look "modern", but I don't tend to believe that merely following a trend is in any way a claim to fame. Give me an old style, if you can make it look good. Might not look "modern", but at least it'll be easy on the eyes.

I think I'll be spending less time in the forums- way too much scrolling for to get through. Between the huge ads and member info that wastes way too much space. Even on an iPhone 6.

Same here. I normally turn those off. Otherwise I'm bound to have my hair stand on end due to some post or another. I don't even get why politics is on here in the first place...

Is there an easier way to mark a forum as read? The new "Mark Forums Read" link in the navigation bar involves manually selecting an option (to either mark just the forum or all forums) and full page re-load.

Previously, we could just double-click the forum indicator or click on the drop down option in a forum to mark it as read.
