I use xenforo for some projects. I like this software. With the news fourm all the way at the bottom. I had no idea a chance was in the works.

Looks like the defualt setting is to send notifications of every thread you post in. Watch theead rather.

If on mobile I am right now. Unless you do advanced editing mode this won't be apparent.

I turned off notifications, but still got one after that.

Hopefully they will stop!

Crap just got another. No bueno.

Yeah, I was about to post the same thing. I've told it not to alert me to replies to a "watched thread" and not to email me when I get an alert, but I'm still getting an email for every single post in here.

Edit: It's correctly stopped alerting me inside Xen (and still correctly showing quotes because I left that on), but is emailing everything.

For me, I really like the fact that the "New Posts" menu item is easily accessible with the left thumb on an iPad.

Where does it show your upvotes/likes? I got an alert that someone liked my post, but I don't see a "liked" number.

EDIT: I see now, I had to reload the page again.

Still not sure...

Not sure I like the change-more modern yes, but as far as content spaces, the ads are huge on an iPhone screen, and member info takes up a lot of space too.

Might I ask where are the 'Private' forums, as I can't seem to find them.

The Marketplace has appeared clearly enough.

The 'new' forum looks clean and bright, - and legible - and relatively easily navigated.

Which details? Like profile details? We lost a few profile fields in the transition. Those aren't likely to come back . Mostly there are some lagging permissions that will take some time.

I noticed some info on my iMac are missing.

"more modern" doesn't even really mean anything. It's following the current trend of colorless and flat UI which makes it look "modern", but I don't tend to believe that merely following a trend is in any way a claim to fame. Give me an old style, if you can make it look good. Might not look "modern", but at least it'll be easy on the eyes.

Thank you for making a better mobile site!

I hated the old mobile version and always forced desktop view on my iPhone. The new version is much much better.

Much prefer the old style forum jump, the new one is slow to load and the box is too small, makes it harder to find what you are looking for.

A forum of this size needs to have really good navigation, if the navigation is poor people will only look at what they came to look for then go elsewhere, if it is awkward to navigate people like myself might not be bothered to do just general browsing around the site and just bookmark the news and discussions thread then go elsewhere when finished reading that section.

I believe there is an add on for exenforo that is just like the old forum jump, i am sure i have seen it on exenforo's own website, they don't use it themselves but i am sure i read it was available on one of the development threads on there.

avforums.com moved to exenforo quite a while ago now and made a right hash of it, there amount of users online has gone down considerably since the move. Mind you you have made a much much better job of it from the off than they did, there's is still a mess after all this time, the owner will just not listen to its users.

I used to spend most of my time on avforums.com, but since they moved to exenforo i spend most of my time on this forum now as they made such a bad job of it. Lets hope i don't have to find another site to spend my time on now you have made the move as well. You have a much bigger customer base here and will get a lot more feedback, i hope you listen and improve the site accordingly.

Quick and easy navigation is a must for me.

The new theme is great! I love that you added our being able to see how many posts someone has. That is helpful. POTENTIAL ISSUE: Just wondering ... I was looking for a thread that I posted in and the list of my posts is not accurate. Posts I made after Monday are not listed, even though I have posted a few, including at least one this morning before you started the upgrade.
